Can't think of a word to describe how I feel that the swear filter won't block out.. :(

I've got just about enough milk expressed for Rhys' feeds until the morning then he'll be on formula (unless my boobs suddenly spring into action overnight).. :(

I know I've said to feelie that she should have no guilt at all about the formula, but I know there are things I could probably have done to not get in this situation - like express more often and eat/drink more to keep my supply up - and so I feel guilty about it..

ARGH ARGH ARGH!!! (feel slightly better now :o)

You've done amazing to get this far, give yourself a huge pat on the back! :T

Elle sweetie, don't forget that it isn't just Rhys who has, and still is, going through a tough time. You and your body both have too.

You mustn't feel guilty about it, it's not your fault and you must try and remember that. It's far better for Rhys to have formula and a mummy who is less stressed.

Thank you for coming on here and keeping us updated with Rhys' progress, it's brilliant to hear how well he's doing.

I've had a pretty random 1st anniversary :D nice nonetheless

Elle when are you next going to express? do you think realistically you can do it every 4 hours religiously for a few days to get things going? - the quicker you act the more likely you can get supply up (it took me ages to get over the fact that I was lazy with expressing and let my supply go down :o so I don't want you to feel the same)
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

Elle my sister had my nephew 10 weeks early last yr with intention to bf but as he was in scbu it got too much and she couldn't get enough so he ended up on formula pretty early on - needless to say as soon as he started on the formula he packed on the weight and is now a huge one year old!

you as bored as us? :rotfl:... what new lappy you looking for? x

No one was posting for ages and there was nothing on tele, but I go away for a while and when I come back there are 5 pages .

Just trying to find the best I can get for under £600, want something quite good so OH can play games on it and have been saving up for it for ages. It's all soo confusing though - not sure my pregnant brain can cope.

Elle, I hope it gets easier soon, it's scary how many people have problems breastfeeding and they don't even have the stress that you have. My sis is having to use a nipple shield and can't do without it. She kept complaining the other day when her babies crying would make her boobs hurt - wierd!!
