Fidget - definitely listen to Glam/MBM. Get your MATB1 form in to your employer before the end of wk 25. And complain about the receptionist if she was cheeky to you!

Karen - I think a ms thread for baby purchases is a great idea. As much as I enjoy this thread, it's very difficult to find information on actualy pregnancy stuff! I think there should be a chat thread, and a Q&A pregnancy thread tbh.

Tia - if you are still getting dizzy spells, make sure you mention it to the MW. You know yourself best, but don't take chances. I left work early as I am coming down with the cold too and couldn't take staring at spreadsheets any longer! And what do I do? Come home and put the flaming laptop on!

SS - congrats on your Mat Leave! You can start doing some housework now - you have been far too lazy recently!!! :p

I'll go for 5:15pm please! So exciting!

I am so glad I no longer have to be smart for work. I get to wear combats and a polo shirt. Down side is I only just look pregnant, and could still be mistaken for having a beer gut! Out of work I am living in 3/4 length trousers and vests, or leggings and dresses with a cardi for if it gets cold. Not very varied, but I think this is how my bump looks best and I am comfiest. If I am really chilling out at home I just wear my dressing gown and undies!

Just sorting out holiday clothes- got one maternity tankini, one normal tankini that fits at a squeeze, lots of vests, one skirt, a couple of pairs of 3/4 lengths and a dress for over swimwear on the beach. The lightest I have ever travelled I think!

    I'm saying 3:55.

And my Dyson arrived the day before yesterday so I will indeed be doing more vacuuming. Epic vacuuming will take place. I've already changed the colour of the rug in the bedroom (I thought it was clean ... EWWW) and vacuumed away at my sofa and all the floor space I can reach. Tonight I'm going to finish clearing the plastic bag mountain in the kitchen and move the bag of junk treats I found into the pantry. I'm running low on things I can do unassisted, and at this stage I'm starting to need more stuff from other people. We've a bag of yarn that's waiting for someone who gets first refusal on it, stuff to sell or give away ... things like that.

However, I'm celebrating tomorrow with a manicure-pedicure and late lunch/tea with a friend. I'm almost swollen out of my remaining pair of flip flops though so I could be stuck at home for the duration!

Edit: oh and I forgot to say, I heard from a friend this morning who had her baby on Friday. So all you slackers are off the hook - I got a birthday baby after all!

Ooh, for anyone after Mat clothes H&M have a load of trousers for £10 in the sale. I got some black ones for work- I bought a size up from my usual size after Tine said that their Mat clothes come up small and I'm gald I did. The are not particularly generous but feel very good quality.
