I spent the after noon sorting the nursery, looks so lovely. 1st time I've evr had a nursery so it's quite emotional. Trouble is I can't move now, hurts so much. Lucky the ensuite is only 8ft from the bed!
Too many children, too little time!!!

    Debt-free and Proud!
I just did a list of all the household chores and out of 22 I do 14 of them and we do 5 of them 'jointly' although I use the word loosely at it includes stuff he is supposed to do but I have been doing recently.

    He does three things!!

Think we need to have a little chat about fair division of labour...

skinty do you think a cleaning rota would help?
When we first started living together, no children and both worked very long hours in catering, we set up a rota for the things that needed done. Worked quite well for us, but each to their own !! :)
Now though as Chris no longer works and is at home all day, does most of it, but as I am on mat leave at the minute we are doing about equal number of things, just I am making him do all the hard stuff !!

I am so glad u girls don't talk too much when I'm not around!!

Only 1 pages to catch up on!

I have wicked heartburn after a HUGE urry in the pub at lunch!!

In true GLAM style I am looking for car boots this weekend!! Although I have stuff with me to sell so need to find a Sat and Sun one!!

Went to see OH's nan and she spent the whole time banging on about death! Never once asked about us, his job or made any fuss over the baby except a dig we weren't married! I left feeling right depressed!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

We used to have a system - we each had our jobs and we did them, although it was still unfair as I did a lot of stuff he doesn;t realise needs doing like cleaning mirrors and washing hard floors.

But since i've not been working (redundant then on mat leave) he thinks I should be doing it and just leaves it for me to do.

I do ask him to do stuff, or point out he hasn't done X for two weeks, but nothing gets done.

I can;t keep saying I want him to do XYZ because it drives me mad, but I also can;t do everything all the time and it will be worse when the baby is here.

Plus, he's over an hour late home and I've not had a call or text to tell me what's going on!
