Phew, my list is done!
My beloved's list will now involve:
taking out the rubbish
looking at the contents of boxes in the living room
telling me what to do with them
AND/OR
moving them to the computer room to put on shelves/under table
bagging the yarn in the living room
He will also be making dinner, unless he is too tired, in which case I will probably go out and buy it. I will also wash up and assist with the living room. We can get it done this weekend, I am almost sure of it!
I should probably go out to the Praktiker and buy bug spray. Perhaps I won't bother though. Hmm.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

right - finally got MIL's internet working again - god I am a genius!!
No way I'm catching up whole thread sorry girls!!
bear - that's pretty crap. My work have given me this new role but I think it's so that they can make sure my current job is filled before I go whilst the new one can wait until I get back. I'm still a bit worried that they might try and diddle me somewhere but now they have confirmed SMP only then I am sticking 2 fingers up to them if I find abother job whilst I'm on mat leave!!
OH should be finding out about his new position next week - looking promising so far! So I will def be having at least 9 months off but work think I can only afford to have 3 months off!! How little they know - need to give them MATB1 and letter next week though!
Well, Tuesday PM was chilling in the pool in IL's garden - it's probably 3ft high by 7ft wide and took 4 hours to fill but I was in there like a shot!
Yesterday - sun in the morning then beach in the afternoon, I went paddling and OH caught a fish!!!
I've had more sun than anyone else but the only one not sunburnt!!!
Just a reminder that no-one is to give birth until I get back from holiday next week - I want lots of Tuesday birthday babies please:D
Elle - wow, just seen your last post and Rhys seems to be coming on in leaps and bounds! You enjoy your night - I'll be watching BB launch too!! Can't believe my life will be taken over for the next 3 months with BB!!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

Back from mw. BP is fine (146/86 which is fine for me), urine clear and she is head down
MW also got the impression that I didn't want a section  :rotfl: She is happy that I want to try a VBAC. Blood count bloods taken. Growth scan and day care Wednesday. I'm happy. Oh, forgot to mention the pain in my right side, will remember next week.
Dinner is on, baked tatties and mince. DH home, DS2 collected.0 -
Bear_family wrote: »I bought one of these from Topshop yesterday. How far up do you wear it? Stupid question.
You wear it however you need it so that your bare belly doesn't stick out between the tops of your trousers and the bottom of your tops (if that makes sense!), they are just to cover the gap of skin showing when your belly is gettingbigger - they don't offer any actual support, they're too stretchy for that.
I normally wore mine so that it slightly overlapped my trousers waistband, so that 1) I could undo the buttons for more room if needed and no-one would know, and 2) it just looked like an extra layer under my top poking out the bottom, rather than something obviously designed to cover up a gap between my clothes!0 -
Although I just hope we get some applicants - there can't be too many people only wanting a year appointment - can there???
I thought I'd get loads of applicants for covering my job for 6 months, especially as it was for 3 or 5 days per week which would have suited part timers and full timers, just Office Manager nothing too taxing, general admin work etc. Arranged through the agencies as my bosses wanted the option to 'get rid of' the person quickly if they didn't like them (I work for such nice people, not), and we got a total of 5 applicants - only 2 of them had relevant experience and only 1 seemed actually competent enough, although not brilliant, so we took her on. I couldn't believe that in these times, only 5 people applied for the job!
I would have liked to spend more time searching for the right person, but had to leave work 2 weeks earlier than planned as I couldn't drive that far anymore so ran out of time, and I had to do all the training as no-one else knows my job. I told her EVERYTHING she needed to know, made a very comprehensive hand over file so she only had to look up what she wanted and would find step by step on what to do, yet she spent the first 2 weeks calling me almost every day to ask things that were in that very file!0 -
For goodness sake!!! Filling out a flamin claim form for DH (he had an oopsy at a car park) and I'm so miffed off! They have all these details on the system already so why do I have to go back over the make, model, engine size, who last farted in the car and when he got his drivers licence! And they don't give you enough room to write it and demand black ink (how inkist!):mad::mad:
One is not amused!
ETA, 'what was the car being used for at the time of the incident' can I put down 'returning from swingers party'?? and it si none of their bloody business who we bought the car from!
All this for a bloody scrape on a bumper that will WASH OFF!!!
I did drawed a picture and did label our car as 'Me (in my car)' and other cars as 'cars'. Can I get a smiley face?0 -
Bear family - some of the stuff in the boxes is utterly inexplicable to me, but I'd rather know what needs doing with it so that when he is out and I am not I can still get stuff done.
I'm feeling a bit guilty, the box of broken china was not supposed to be broken - it was all stuff that was broken in the move and all came from his mother's estate. And it all used to be worth a lot of money. He didn't realise it was all broken, and he was gutted. More so since I'd been so flippant in insisting on knowing why he'd kept a box of broken stuff.
:A He came home from work early to do householdy stuff with me, but I'd gone out to buy bug spray. So he did the yarn and took out the rubbish while I wasn't here. He raised tons of mould powder and tainted dust while doing it though, so I'm not going into the living room for the rest of the night.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
