Bear I would definitely be miffed.
They are actually advertising my job next week and I'm going to be on the interview panel so at least I have some say in who will be replacing me. Although I just hope we get some applicants - there can't be too many people only wanting a year appointment - can there???Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)
Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early)0 -
I'm sure there will be some people Karen who will take any contract length at the mo. So I'm sure you'll get cover.
My order from Mothercare arrived yesterday and today and the paint should be coming tomorrow. Hopefully we can start the nursery soon. OH has bought a house alarm system after our shed was broken into last week and wants to make sure me and bubs are safe.

skint - personally I don't see just how wearing an elasticated band would help get rid of tummy flab. All it's going to do is make you look better in clothes, but the second you take it off the flab will still be there!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

It's not for flab - it's to help the muscles tighten again. It's supposed to be based on an ancient custom of wrapping your body to achieve the same result, but it's not about getting rid of fat, just helping the tummy muscles go back to normal.

I haven't even handed in my MATB1 yet!
How about 2 different veggies to go with the hash?

My position has to be filled by 2 solicitors and 2 trainee solicitors as they only just realised how much work I actually do. It made me feel kinda special that they have to get 4 people to cover my one job especially as i will be off for less than 3 months.
If I wasnt going back to work I wouldnt care if the office monkey replaced me, i'd just be glad to be out of it all!!!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -

I think some of the first bit is applicable to my job and that is making me smile. Your ending made me laugh out loud though.

I agree! I can't get on and I know MM has a higher score than me and I hat it....I need to beat her, I need to be top!!!! (and relax!)
I've been fairly busy at work, I have been keeping up just not responding - plus i haven't really got anything to add.
I'm not being replaced, my job is being split between 3 or 4 people - but the MD is also having to do some of it. It does kind of make me feel as though I don't add very much or they would have to replace me, or that they will realise they don't need me, but I know they are going to find it hard going to keep on top of things I usually just get on with.
Popped out to Boots on lunch, got:
Boots 80 pack disposable breast pads - 99p
Boots 40 pack, extra absorbent breast pads - 74p
Boots 5pck maternity mats -99p
So, over the weekend I will make a start on packing a bag!:T0 -
im only on 48k and i have to beat my own score before you to :rotfl: ...
im not getting replaced either as my work place cant afford it xStill searching .....:)
