The lil lady got hicups for the first time a few nights ago, I forgot to coo over it... :o

And I got my first (and hopefully last) leg cramp yesterday morning and it still hurts!

My dog is walking about doing that annoying 'whoooo' whine cos DS1 went to the park, I really don't like my dog, sorry, but it's the truth. He is so irritating and bloody annoying. And small! I'm not keen on small dogs and he is a border collie, I thought he would be more collie sized but he is about 20inches high, long haired, white and irritating. Poor dog!

Baby stuff is all washed though DS1 and DS2's warmer shawl has a yellow mark so it needs bleaching or something. Will get it later on at some point it's not important.

Tia - you meany, poor doggy I'm sure he's not that bad :p

SM I'm wearing 36D now so I think its just bump thats bigger and my bood just not as saggy - I do miss having perky boobs and a flat tummy sometimes.
I was thinking earlier what things I might do if I didn't have kids to think about and all I could come up with was go to a festival like leeds or V - I'm soo boring!
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

I know! I feel guilty about it, but the truth is I just don't like him! Course he gets all the best treatment, I feed him, walk him, groom him, de worm/flea him, take him to the vet, get him his chews and stuff, I just don't pet him that much. DH and the kids do so it's not like he is being ignored, I just don't have a bond towards him beyond making sure he is healthy. Yet I will go to my mum and dads and slober over their dogs

Doesn't help that I'm also allergic to him, no other dog but him! His hair is that silky soft long stuff, like long haired rabbits (I'm allergic to those too) and makes me itch, eyes water, sneeze etc.

Seriously if I knew what he would grow into I would have left him.

hmmmm kaz thats an idea :rotfl: ... why does everyone have bigger (.)(.) then me  x

It's not always everything its cracked up to be - I can't just pop into any clothes shop and find bras to fit me - they usually max out at a D-cup if they even make that. Plus I don't seem to be able to find any cheap bras - I tend to use Bravissimo who specialise for the *ahem* larger ladies and the cheapest I have managed to get is £19.00 but its good quality and I am feeling very supported (phew - wouldn't want to accidentally knock someone out with one energetic movement..... :D)

    Hi all..

Rhys is in a babygrow! :D A wee dinky one which is still too big for him but he looks well cute. Only got one arm in as he's had to have another line put back in his arm for another medication drip but it's nothing to worry too much about apparently. A few levels of good and bad stuff in his blood going up and down a bit but they don't seem too concerned, it's just a balancing act to get it right. There's still talk of moving rooms soon :)

We're going to have an evening out of the hospital tonight. Going to get fish and chips from the chippy near my parents house and take them back there to eat, then OH is leaving me there so I can have a soak on the bath and wash and straighten my hair properly whilst watching the Big Brother launch show, then Mum will bring me back here afterwards. OH is going to our house to check on progress and chill out playing online for a few hours.

Feel guilty for having an evening out - and like it sounds like I'm putting watching BB before my son, which I'm honestly not :o - but then I know we need to spend more time away from the hospital to get used to the idea for when we go home and Rhys still has to stay here a while longer.

With the move to the next room for Rhys, it frees up a space in intensive care which means they can take another very sick baby and then they would need a room for that baby's parents and we might have to move out. In reality, we know there are mum's staying here with "weller" babies than Rhys so they will have to go first, but there are four intensive care beds and four parent flats, so if they had enough nurses to actually open all of those beds, they may need all the flats for those babies' parents.

I'm curious but at the moment I daren't ask what kind of stage he has to get to to be able to come home. He was so sick this time last week but now seems to have come on remarkably and there's more and more talk of WHEN he comes home, rather than if. The consultant even asked if the nurses had tried bottle feeding him this morning, although they actually think he's "not quite there yet" (QUITE?!)

Anyway, must take myself off to the dairy again... TTFN all xx

Sami - what about a voucher to go and pamper yourself after you have had the baby? With a promise of a baby sitter?

Shawl! I meant to put one in the labour bag, which is actually a bursting-at-the-seams cabin sized rolling case from Ikea.

Thank you for reminding me :)

Just sneezed three times in quick succession, now having tummy pains and suspect a minor accident, but am generally so lubricated in that region that it's hard to know for certain. Pregnancy is so undignified.

Anyway. The washing up is done, both my lunches have been eaten, the whisky has been moved and space has been made for the china. I just went in and opened the box I thought contained the china for displaying and found half a box of lovingly wrapped broken pieces - all clearly wrapped post-breakage. WHY??? Why must he be such an inexplicable pack rat?

I'm hiding his microphone stands as soon as I figure out where to hide them and how to carry them there. They're ugly and they're in my way.
