Hope everyones doing ok.

im having problems with my dongle or my usb port anyway my internet connection keeps failing.

Skinty - I'm still trying to figure out why in the world your midwife told you it was a girl based on it's heartbeat. That's an old wives tale - if she's implying that higher heartrate is girl and lower is boy. Both DS2 and this baby averaged 140-155 heartrate and they are both boys. Unless there's some other reason she's indicating heartbeat indicates girl. Odd. But fundal height is such a variable. I measured 33wks at 30wks, no big deal. You can get a couple different people to measure it over the course of a few minutes, and they'll probably all get a different measurement. And so much of it depends on how you're carrying as well. I have only gained 0.6kg total this pregnancy and my bump is larger than it was with Liam, and I gained 17 pounds when pregnant with him. Just carrying different. Try not to stress over it.

I dunno if she based it on the HB or how it felt - but it has to be one or other of those things!

I suspect she just likes to guess and see if she's right. I don't mind - most people think it's a boy and we have kinda mentally accepted it will be, so if it's a girl that's a nice surprise.

I think I have started to feel the baby move about a bit (18 weeks at the mo) it's a bit of a weird feeling. Although maybe I just really want to feel it so am imagining it. :rolleyes:

Not much going on apart from that at the mo. Although need to get some maternity trousers now that my stomach has started to protrude a bit too much and I managed to break the zip of my trousers at work the other day! Bit embarrassing - so glad I had black pants on under black trousers or that would have been even worse :rotfl:
So bit of late night shopping for me tonight.

I also had to get some new bras the other day - 34HH I am now and I am not sure how long they will last me. But loads more comfy that my old ones.
