Everyone has gone quiet, so I am off to sort out dinner and watch a film. Just got my highest score even in Bejewelled - 136k. Funny how I always break my record on a Tuesday when the scores are wiped!

Sami! Glad things are going well. We wanna hear your birth story!

So much has been talked about since I was last here yesterday morning, but here's some ramblings :p

I went through a period of not feeling much movement, but I think it was growth spurts, plsu I still cannot feel if the baby kicks anywhere other than the front of my tummy - I was at the osteopath last week and she got kicked while working on my back/sides and I didn;t feel a thing!

The MW will use a doppler to hear the heart from 16 weeks, and so will doctors at hospital. They can;t get it before then with a doppler I don't think. You can always ask to hear it.

I had my Strep B swab done today and then wandered round town till it was time to have my hair done. It's my first anniversary on Sunday so I want to look nice! But I prefer the way I dry it so I always have it cut in advance of things.

I keep feeling movements high up so I'm hoping that hanging down the stairs and going on all fours has turned the baby.

ANd is anyone else finding the heat a bit much? I am so tired and it's just the heat draining me.

    Good afternoon my fellow bumpsters!

Skinty- I am with you on the heat. It is just so tiring. Hit me really hard yesterday- I had the air con ramped right up at work, much to everyone elses disgust!

MM- so excited for you about tomorrow. It must be so bizarre knowing that this time tomorrow you will have your baby. Can't wait to have pics. I can't remember, do you know the flavour or is it a surprise?

Elasti- thanks for the Boots heads up. I used to be seriously addicted to Bootsing, and still have quite a stash of toiletries. I think those baby bits would be worth looking for. Fingers crossed my Boots have some.

Had my second risk assessment at work today- saying I still have a bad back and am permanently exhausted sounds pretty pathetic when you're saying it to your boss though! Nothing new really- I am allowed an extra 8 hours labour a week to help cover peak periods to try and reduce my stress a bit. She also said I need to think carefully about starting my Mat Leave earlier if my back gets worse. How early can they make me take it if I get signed off? I'm already leaving six weeks before EDD with two weeks hols then four weeks mat leave. Don't really want to leave any earlier than that, if I can possibly help it.
