2 parts plain flour
2 parts salt
1 part water (warm)

Mix salt and flour, add water, mix, adding more water or flour to adjust the texture. Knead for 5-10mins. Shape. Bake at 100'c for 3-4 hours till hard, then turn over if needed to ensure the base is set. Though my CD's only took 2 hours. Put it on tinfoil then a tray (I used greaseproof paper and it just stuck to it). Then when cool, paint and then seal with clear varnish.

Keep unused dough in an airtight container at room temp, it wont go off cos of all the salt.

Lindsay, call your mw, drink plenty of water and fingers crossed it's nothing.

Wanted Jasmine to make something for Chris as money is a bit tight at the minute !! We got him a t-shirt with superdad on it and she has made him 2 cards - 1 from her and 1 from the new baby but it cant be wrote yet as we dont know a name !!

Chris is the hardest person in the world to get presents for, he wants nothing, needs nothing and doesnt appreciate anything A new t-shirt or a mug that says dad on it is what we usually end up going for !!!
