Eurgh, I hate vanilla! Sorry!
Will get the boys to make cards. They have made CD's from salt dough to say 'I love you' and 'I love dad'. All baked and ready to paint tomorrow.0 -
I managed to grab the bottle so not all of it went in, but there was a definite vanilla smell from the mixture !!!The two best things I have done with my life

I'm annoyed with ebay at the moment! I'm a buyer, not a seller at the moment, but a couple of weeks ago I bid on a maternity shirt. I bid a sensible amount for the condition and name, but there were no other bids so I won it for £1.99. I was pleased with the bargain, until a week later I got this weird message from the seller saying she had sent all her parcels out to the wrong people, so could I return what she had sent me and she would send me the right thing. Nothing ever arrived, and when I contacted her today, she said that she would refund the money to me (which she did less 35p paypal fees
) and if and when the wrong package arrives with me, can I return it to her (presumably at my own expense ). Her excuse was that she is 4 and a half months pregnant
. Guess what love: I'm pregnant too. The big clue being I'm bidding on maternity clothes.
I'm just really p'ed off with the whole thing, as her story is so implausible. I'm pretty sure she was narked the thing didn't go for more and so came up with a !!!! and bull story which she thought would let her cancel the sale and relist the item without affecting her feedback rating :mad:0 -
Hi all
Glad to hear Rhys is doing so well Elle, hope you get your nap soon!!
Niki, If that was me, I wold be tempted to leave a neutral comment, I hate when things I buy on ebay which were sooo cheap then dont turn up. I find it happens me alot.
Hi MM, hows things with you today.0 -
Evening all
I just have a bit of a question. I have been having braxon hicks contractions since about 26 weeks (im now nearly 32). Tonight they have got pretty painful, they are nor regular but between 5 mins and half hour, but very uncomfortable. I also have a headache which has been on off for a few days. my dd tried to come at 32 weeks but they stopped it and managed to hold on to due date!
At what point do you call the midwife? I dont want to call and its something silly!£2 Savers club £0/£150

IMO - now but you say pretty much what you've said in your post. I can see you don't want to claim to be in labour if its a false alarm, but its more silly to go into possibly preventable labour early with no medical support on hand, than it is just to pick up the phone and ask the professional who is paid to care for you, for her opinion based on your own medical background.
Mrs M -I did leave her a neutral, and an explanation of why.0 -
Thankfully not, im still here, the little trickles of blood dont seem to be any big deal or any indication of anything and today I've been clear with no bleeding at all.
I've had a really strange day and have been out of sorts all day.
My consultant came to see me at 9am and said she had to explain the risks of my CS to me as it would not be straightforward.
Apparently my placenta will bleed heavily during the CS and its removal may cause a rupture. She said a hysterectomy is possible and also advised that there was a small chance I may not stop bleeding and it could end in death. Now im crapping myself completely.
I phoned DH and got him to take today of work and just went out for the day. I went shopping for some things and went to my fav ice cream shop then bought lots of chocolate to take back with me. Im seriously freaked out.0 -
OMG MrsM !!!!!!!!!!
Thats def not what you wanted to be told !!
I'm sure the percentage chance of that is fairly slim, but she has to tell you !
((hugs))The two best things I have done with my life
