Argh.. bloody visitors! :( I've hardly got anything done today cos we keep getting visitors turning up unannounced, wanting to stay and chat for ages. How on earth I'm supposed to express every two hours, I do not know!! I've told OH to tell his family to let me know if they're going to show up but they still don't - alright for him, he's at work all day.

Didn't go out with Mum in the end. Too shattered and would have ended up ratty - much like I am now! :( Boobs killing, need to express, need a cuppa, need a nap, tea will turn up shortly, haven't got the energy to eat it and I've got a killer sore throat... and breathe! :(

On the bright side, Rhys hasn't had any extra oxygen all day and is now up to four hour periods off his CPAP. Going back on it at 6pm tonight. Also back to wearing a sleepsuit again - looking uber cute! :D

Off for a lie-down.. sorry to moan!

    hello!!

    !

Someone wanted to PM me a question but hasn't which is strange  not a regular either!

Sorry Glam, it was me with the PM - I have done it now. I am a regular lurker but don't post often - I am not a stalker honestly!! I started looking in this forum for my daughter when she was pregnant (her baby is now 3 weeks old) and I liked it, so I stayed!! Sorry if I worried you;)

Am thinking may have to venture into town at the weekend to somewhere like Poundland just to stock up on crisps - does anyone happen to know if the multipacks they sell come in bigger sizes that 6pack. If not will stick to Asdas 3 for £3.

Yes their packs (in my local one) are 9's or sometimes 12's. I get our crisps from there instead of in the weekly shop as Asda as we go through them so quickly.

    Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm crisps.........

Hi Elle, it's great that Rhys is doing so well :)

I think you perhaps need to be a little harder and tell people to leave when you need to express. My sis had too many visitors and the MW told her she wan't allowed any visitors that weren't immediate family for a few days so she could get in the routine of feeding and bonding. You can't please everyone!

Just trying to be good and boost the baby fund by doing some eBaying. I am just so tired today though. Had a good night's sleep, then an hour and a half nap this afternoon. Don't know what's wrong with me, apart from the obvious. I'm a bit worried that my iron levels are still low, even though I have been so good taking my iron tablets recently and have made sure there is lots of iron and vit C in my diet. Guess I will find out with next bloods.

    Right...on with the eBaying.

Ooh, also picked up some lovely bargainous babygroes in GAP today. They were reduced to £2.99 from £17.00 each! Still not dirt cheap, I know but nice for best! Got three- one in newborn, one 0-3 and one 3-6 months. Might be worth a look for others (this was Basingstoke).

Elle- I agree with Jenny. Maybe you need to be super strict for a week or so to enable you to get into the routine now Rhys is needing more milk. You can always say MW insists if you don't wanna appear mean.

    Hi GISI

I've been trying to ebay too. I've had some perfume on there 3 times now, a third cheaper than the nearest competitor. I had 4 watchers today, and it still didn't sell. The other 2 times I had 2 watchers, it drives me mad. It was my xmas pressie from the ex and I really wanted to sell it so that the money could pay for something for bubs. At least then it would sort of be from him.

Anyway, weather permitting, my mate and I are doing a boot sale on sunday, possibly 2 if I have the energy, so I'm hoping to get rid of a lot of stuff then. I doubt I'll sell the perfume though as they really want something for nothing around here.

Well done on the baby grows btw, bargain.

Brilliant news on CPAP Elle, must get us some more piccys in his cute sleepsuit. As for the visitors, I agree, just tell them that you need to sort out his food. Or, if possible put a sign up saying mummy and baby sleeping - call back later.
I have been thinking about doing this as I know some of my extended family will practically move in if I let them. Was going to spend weeks in pjs as a visual hint that I'm tired but I've spent this week in them and I just want to get back to normal.

If anyone has any suggestions regarding visitors outstaying their welcome, I'm sure both Elle and I would appreciate them... among others;)

Also I popped into Aldi today and picked up some very bargainous fruit- punnets of cherries, plums and peaches all 49p, plus a pineapple for 49p. I am so into fruit at the moment that it has been costing me a fortune.

I also bought some yummy plain choc digestives for 59p that tasta just like McVities but no need to mention that.
