Fabulous! One of the blokes at work has just asked me when i'm getting my roots done. Must be bad if a man noticed. (I'm a natural ginger, but seem to be aquiring a lot of grey, i blame OH and DS for stressing me out).

Will now have to book in with the hair-dressers after pay day on the 17th.
Pregnancy brain is not letting me remember if its £30 or £40 for cut, colour and blow dry. Have stopped colouring it myself, can never find the right shade of red, never do a proper job myself and get it all over the bathroom, then get told off by ""OCD" OH.

    As for height and weight - I am 5ft 1" also. Pre-pregnancy size 6-8. Was 7st 5lb now 8st 5lb.
1 stone on at 25 weeks. Most of thats gotta be boobs. (I hope)

had this discussion today - you'd be amazed at how little breasts actually weigh!

I remember saying to my consultant on the morning of my first breast reduction 'Wow, this should shed about a stone!' (I was a 32H). He laughed and said I very much doubt that, he removed about 500g of breast tissue from right and 650g from left I think and took me down to a DD. Not a lot in weight but made a MASSIVE difference!
Think the second op was about 250g from each.

Pfffft. Oh Ok! So i'm deluding myself then, yes my bottom has got bigger and my thighs have slightly and yes there is a hint of a double chin (from some angles). But in my mind i am a perfectly proportioned size 8 with a bump.

I have absolutely no idea how much weight i put on with DS five years ago. I do know that i had him on 10th dec and was definately in a normal pair of size 8 jeans on Christmas day.

P.S. I was ironing the other day and OH said you have a proper pregnant shape now, you look like a duck. My answer was that my backside now had to stick out to balance my boobs and bump or i would fall over. OH is so lovely. NOT!

mookie - I totally understand. I'm the opposite and had just gained some weight right before getting pregnant. Before last year, I had gotten down to a 10/12 but then varies things brought me up to a 12/14 then about 14 (16 on top...big boobies too!) before getting preg. Now I live in size 16 clothes :(. Quite depressing but at least my brain knows that I CAN lose weight, it's just a matter of sticking to it! for now, am just going to enjoy being preg and try and not and worry about weight. it's hard.

Thanks - feel embarrassed now that you actually went and got the link for me :o

My excuse is - I'm pregnant.

That reminds me - OMG!!! OH and his bro on Tuesday at the races told EVERYONE I was pregnant (like it's not obvious).
In Tesco before getting the alcohol, there was a queue - 'Can u open another till? She's pregnant!'
Paying to get into the races - 'Can she have discount? She's pregnant'
Parking car - Me - Can I park down near the front?' Car park guy - 'Where in the picnic bit? Me - Yeah. 'Yeah no Problem go that way!' OH and bro - 'Thanks, she's pregnant you see.'
Putting a bet on - 'can u give her good odds? She's pregnant'

    Bloody drove me barmy
