As a Toys-R-Us gold card holder (free to join) I have received an email today regarding a special offer for Haven. It is 40% off breaks including August. We have booked 4 nights from the 24th August in the Prestige Caravan for £353 in Doniford, which for Haven is a bargain. :D

Hi, good post but is it just me or are the prices exactly the same as if I went to the Haven website anyway?

Unless I'm missing something whatever method I use and whatever pc I use, the Haven prices seem to be identical with or without the Toys R Us link.

It saves the toyrus offer on your system, not sure how but says so in the terms and conditions it explains. If you click on the quidco link to haven that's when you see how much it would have been, mine would have been, £580+. My invoice shows a £235 reduction.

but this is the price anyone would pay as if you go straight onto the haven website via no links this is the price it gives.

When I tried to go through topcashbask I got £530 so not sure about their pricing system. Still a good deal anyhow as they are coming out cheaper than John Fowler and Park Resorts and their entertainment is nowhere near as good.

    I've been Money Tipped!
We stayed at Haven Caister at half term. Caravan STANK of cigarettes , even our own pillows and duvets did after the 4 nights there. Upholstery was stained and I have to say I felt unclean and unsafe there. Persoinally, I would rather pay a little more & go to Center Parcs.

A little more, I love centre parcs but couldn't afford August. We go to Doniford as it's small, always stay in the best caravans not standard, never had any problems at all. Did go to Burnham 2 years ago though, wouldn't go there again.

I totally agree. We went to Craig Tara in Scotland just a few weeks ago for half term. We upgraded to the prestige van but it was filthy, stank of cigerette smoke and the site was very noisy until late at night. Personally I would never go again, however my children loved it.

Ive been to all the havens in Scotland, all of the parks were great, the caravans were clean , comfy, with no problems whatsoever. Im just back from Berwick haven and I cant fault any of it. Did u all complain about your vans at the time? They really are very approachable staff and would probably have offered you another van. My kids love it and I enjoyed it too.
