Hello all, added myself to the EDD list last night and then rudely went to bed without saying hello properly!

How is everyone doing today?
I've counted up and my due date (5th August) is 59 days away and counting down. Very excited now as is DH. I'm just fed up with not being able to get comfy in bed (even with a pillow between my knees!) and of course as soon as I do manage to get comfy, I need a wee!

Hope everyone is doing well and good luck to those who are due an imminent arrival!

Nicki- glad you had a good appointment with the Consultant. It must be such a stressful time at the moment, but often the best thing you can do is get as much info as possible to prepare yourself.

Searching- I love the name Zachary- think it's both cool and distinguished.

Elle- Fabulous news about Rhys. It sounds like he going from strength to strength. Hope the nice nurses can give you some advice on the horrid nurse. She does sound pretty incompetent. Have any of the other parents mentioned being unhappy with her?

Tia- get yourself checked out ASAP and let us know how you get on.

Nancmat and Elasti- let us know how the scans go...I have my 20 week next week and I am getting nervous. On the bump debate, I'm 19 weeks and only started showing about two weeks ago. I think I have a fairly obvious bump now, but it still doesn't show that much in certain clothes. Mat clothes definitely make it look more obvious and are way comfier.

Very taxing day at a meeting today but I now have the whole evening to myself and plan to laze on the couch with a big bowl of strawberries to watch the Holby wedding at 8!

I was made redundant when I was just PG, spent the first trimester out of work, then got a three-month contract, and then spent the last trimester out of work and I LOVE it!

I manage to fill my days reading, tidying, preparing the house, being on here, and seeing friends and I'm sure you'll find you will appreciate the space to relax and get ready for the baby.

Nicki - very glad that went so well and well done you for asking him and starting that difficult conversation.

Tia - hope all is OK at the hospital

I am going to a home birth group tonight and hoping to get lots of help and support ref possible small baby (which as per my post earlier I don't think IS measuring small anyway).
