hope so honey, you get it done often? I have never heard of anyone having this, and the physio said it might take a few sessions to sort it out

Yes, one side of my pelvis is slightly higher than the other, which used to give me such bad back pain and when it was found this was the problem I had to go twice a week to be twisted about and put back in the correct position, then as it got better at staying in place I had to go less often, and since being pregnant and getting SPD it all flared up again.

I tend not to go as often as I maybe should, as the soreness through recovery afterwards is very restrictive and I can't do very much, whereas I am used to the pain of it being out of place and can cope with that better weirdly, so can go about my normal daily activities easier. Also being pregnant there is only really one or two ways they can correct it (one being the method you described) because I can't get into the other positions I used to have to do, and it's quite awkward to have it done.

MM - that is such a cool idea for you and Jasmine to have a manicure done together! My DD loved doing stuff like that together when she was younger. (she's one of those jaded 22yo's now)

They think this is the problem that stopped me having a natuaral labour with Jas, she got stuck on the bone, and the physio said that I may have been twisted at that time. I went for physio for over 6 months after she was born and they couldnt find anything wrong. I have been on painkillers for the last 6 years as my back can sometimes get really sore (not all the time though) and it got really bad at about 4 months in this pregnancy.
MW referred me straight away though, so it was good to know that there was a problem and it wasnt me making it up !!
She said there isnt a lot she could do when I'm pregnant other than try to do a little movement, but will get a lot more done after bubs is born

I was worried that may be the case with my birth too, but the midwife seems to think it won't be a problem, I'm not so sure myself so keeping an open mind on what might happen. She's more concerned the pain that I'm in anyway from the spd/original back pain will make it too hard to push effectively, again having to keep an open mind on that, an epidural would help but that's a last resort for me (I say that now, may well be different when the time comes!).

I have a small riser in my shoe on the 'lower' side to help keep it level, so hopefully it's not wonky enough to cause a problem... fingers crossed!

I find the more mobile I am the better it is, which is why I've been keeping active up til now, but when I want to sit at the laptop on MSE for a while, I have to get into all sorts of odd positions to be comfy, and after 20-30 mins I can feel it all stiffening up. MSE makes me worse lol!

Everyone gets child benefit regardless of income.
I think if you are a lone person/parent living in a house you get 20% off your council tax!

    It's all so confusing.

Tried the entitled to again and that says that it should be £161 per week. That doesn't include Child benefit but does include Child Tax credit and Child Care Allowance. I'm going to get all info about part time working when I go back in then ring again for several quotes when I can ask all the questions at once.

The council tax is £90 with reduced single saddo rate, the website was saying that I should only be paying £17. Was all confusing but just concentrating on the baby money now. I knew I wasn't really entitled to benefits just for me but baby is another matter altogether.

Thanks MM, Erin is 9, my eldest is 21.

She's struggling with my inactivity I think, I've never been one for sitting around. We have girly time too, last month we both went to the hairdressers together and she had her first cut and blow dry. Few months ago we went off for the weekend just the 2 of us, saw HSM live and stayed in a hotel. Tried to reassure her that theses things will continue as I enjoy them as well. Maybe I will do what you have and book something so she can see it coming up. She is very high maintainance though, more so than any of my others. :o
