Isn't that the £20 per week. I don't think I qualify for any more than that. Just ringing them again now to ask the question

Tia that's me. Random contractions but no dilating. My cervix seems to be thinning ahead of schedule, and my doctor will check on it Monday week to see what it's up to.

Husband's out working tonight, so it will be a date with fast food and youtube episodes of ANTM for me. Hurrah!

Hi Glam and harley and everyone else!!

Elle- glad you finally got some skin-to-skin with rhys!!

i got my MATB1 form today!!
where i work you have to start mat leave 3 weeks before your due date. your due dates for work from sun before you are due. so our sunday (due 22sept) is the 20 Sept. i am starting mat leave on the 30 August. i have 5 weeks holidays to take as well. ours cant be carried over so i am taking them before baby comes so am planning to finish work around the 27Jul.
    think that makes sense.

so have my matb1 form, no hipg but am i (now thinking bout it) meant to get it at 27 weeks?? need to check...

anyway consultant appt went well. BP is fine urine clear. heard baby heartbeat again!! have to go for 28 wk appt back there as well. also have booked me in for a growth scan at 34 weeks!! mw measured me and felt around and didnt indicate amy problems. looking forward to the scan already!!

harley - don't forget you'll get £20 each week for Child benefit. Not means tested.

Are those Child Tax credits or Working tax credits? Would think you'd be eligible for both. Are you going to get childcare vouchers from your employer? That would work out better for you than getting paid your normal salary.

Sounds like heaven finishing that early!! I'll see how I go towards the end of August and then take my leave if I'm not being very productive!!

HIPG is 25 weeks - I'm seeing MW next Thursday to get mine but she gave me MATB1 form at 22 weeks which is in my top drawer of work so I can email my later on Friday and my manager can get it out of my drawer.

Wish I was having another scan :(

OOOH, seems I get that £130 per week right from when baby is born. Woohoo. The last chap I spoke to seemed to imply that it was for the child care but this chap says that I get if from Sept.

Never claimed anything before so not really sure how it works. It appears that you need to know the right questions to ask to get the answers cos I would never have known that.

Really need to look into this a bit further, maybe I won't have to go back quite so early after all.

HUGE massive hugs to you MM xxxx

do you think it would be ok to make an appt with GP midwife to get the HIPG form as it looks like i will be having my checks at the hospital?
dont want to waste their time...

i know i've got to have weekly BP/urine tests so maybe i could make one with the mw instead of the nurse to get the form

Hey, I thought the MATB1 form was to be sent with the surestart form? Or do I have to get them to sign the form too? I can't work this stuff out when pregnant!
