NMS, we don't even have Sainsburys here! I'll sort something, I'm just cross at her expectations from me. People think as we live in a nice house and area and have nice things that we are well off. We have worked very hard to get here and we are very careful with money. We don't go out much, don't drink or smoke. We don't have sky and being an MSE'er I look for the best deal in everything. She is a waster, spends on going out and drinking and several holidays, while the house is a tip and the kids have terrible clothes. I want to be a SAHM and we are working towards being able to afford it so I really begrudge handing over much to her. If I give cash as she has now text me and asked she will have it. I would love to get my neice clothes but it's hard to tell what she would like as I've only ever seen her in trackie bottoms and t-shirts. Might send her cinema tickets or something.Too many children, too little time!!!0

With my first, I stopped work on Friday evening and had him the following Monday. But he was 2 weeks early by planned elective c section.
With my second, I stopped a good 6 weeks before the due date and she was also 2 weeks early though a spontaneous labour that time.
I was in the same office based job with the same company for both kids, With no 1 I was fine, and well able to work until the bitter end, with no 2, even though my duties were less by then and I was only working 3 days a week rather than fulltime, I was shattered and more than ready to stop when I did. I'm not sure you can really plan ahead for this kind of thing, as it so much depends on how well you feel in the last few months of the pregnancy, which is why you don't have to give a firm finishing date at any point, just a minimum number of days notice.0 -

SM- hope everything goes well for you
Aless- dont worry bout dates. very few babis arrive on time anyway. and like others have said you will get another look at them in a few weeks. i'd love to see our baby again.
off to consultant later for my 24 week appt. BP and urine have been clear at all my weekly checks. hope i can go back now to seeing mw at my GP surgery rather than the hospital.
is it just me or does your bump move/feel hard or soft in different places all the time? my bump is larger on my right side, but am putting that down as the placenta as when we had 20 wks scan sonographer said my placenta was on the right. feeling loads of movement more regularly now as well. baby seems to be a bit of a night owl though as they seem to move more about 11.30pm just as i;m ready to go to bed. on sat dh had his head resting on bump and got a propre kick in the ear!! just aftre he had said 'go on kick me!' lol!! very funny'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
