Woby_Tide wrote:so 6 months into a 12 month contract where they gave you a free £300 handset that you can't be bothered to get fixed under warranty and you think you deserve a goodwill gesture? I'd hate to see what you would have been expecting as an upgrade if you'd made 12 months payments, Vertu maybe, with a butler included to press the buttons?
i was thinking something similar!
if the phone is faulty just take it to the shop and they will sort it out for you!
i think you just want the n70 and looking for an excuse!Honesty is the best policy doesn't matter which web site
you are on!
if i had known then what i know now!
a bargain is only a bargain if you really need it!0 -

so much for people trying to help me save money, no money saving experts in sight.
It's under warranty so it will be FREE to get it repaired.
Exactly why would they give you a new phone/let you off paying and all the other ideas you had?
Take it in, wait 5 days or however long it takes, and be happy that your phone is working again0 -
is this a wind up??0

Hope thats of some use. I'm fairly sure a few CarphoneWarehouses have them too. Normally the first point of call is the retailer you bought the phone from (not the network).
I personally have used Fleet Communications a few times, who have been very helpful.bagand96 wrote:I've had a faulty Sony Ericsson on an O2 contract. If you take it into any O2 shop they will sort out sending it away for a repair for you. They will provide you with a loan phone if needed, and they text you and leave a voicemail message when your phone is back in. In my case it couldnt be repaired and I got a replacement (same model).deutzkiwi wrote:I think you'll find woby_tide was trying to point out that you'll have to pay if you want an N70! There is no way they would replace a lost/stolen phone without any insurence, just the same a car, home contents etc. If you really want the N70, get your W800i fixed, sell it, use the profit to pay off your contract and take out a new one with an N70, sorted.gk172 wrote:You could drop your contract to the lowest available tariff for the remaining 6 months or pay the remaining 6 months off just now and then you could cancel contract and take out another or just lower the tariff and take out another contract anyway depending on what you can afford, i have 2 02 contracts taken out within weeks of each other.kai666 wrote:It's under warranty so it will be FREE to get it repaired.

We have all contributed to this post with all possible options but unfortunatley for you 02 wont hand you a free N70 6 months into your contract, so not sure what you want to hear
