Good Luck to jackieO with the mammogram.

    FairyElephant

It is an awful decision but if your Mum is already on antidepressants to cope then she needs a break- it's not really a choice IYKWIM

Had to stay in this morning for a couple of deliveries and phoned estate agent and reduced the price of our house yet again!!

Let's hope it makes a difference.

Home made potato salad for tea with bacon chops done in the Remoska.

Just put in another order with approvedfood - bet DH will be in when it arrives so I won't be able to sneak things into the cupboard.

Going out to get some half price strawberries as a treat for DD(15) as she is getting bogged down with revision etc.

Hugs to everybody and see you later

    Afternoon all

Turned out nice here after all lets hope it stays like this!

FE It would seem that really you both have no option other than respite care - how much longer would your mum be able to cope without having a break. It is very hard for you (((((Hugs)))))
Pink-winged, been there, suffered that! I have 2 step-sons (now grown and calmed down but at the time very hard to cope with) hope all goes well
Tiredmum how did the interview go - fingers crossed!
    JackieO hope all is well
Diva thanks for the lovely pm
NPM hope the head has eased

LO Chicken made into curry with rice for tea. I am ashamed to say that pre-MSE days nobody in our house used to eat the legs and wings of chicken and after a few days in the fridge always ended up in the dog (if not too long) or worse the bin.:o I realised today at work when thinking what to use it up on that I am well and truly converted - it simply was not an option to throw it away!!! I bulked it up with frozen chopped onions, mushrooms and peppers that once upon a time would have been in the bin also and not frozen to save wasting - so I realise I owe a big thank you to you all for changing my mindset!!!! :T:A:T:A

Hope everyone has a nice evening

    Afternoon everyone

I'm late to the thread today as its YD birthday today and I've been busy with the birthday cake. She wanted chocolate and she wanted Princess. So I made a chocolate cake and I ice it pink and white with a princess topper in the middle. So after a b'day treat of Mc D's we all sang to her and devoured her cake.Theres loads left and its MD's confirmation on Sunday so another cake will be required and the week after ys is 4 so yet more cake is required.Anyone want any cake?:D

FairyElephant - your mother shouldnt be guilty about putting your father into a care home as she's done a marvellous job coping with him for this long

    Evening all,

((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) to everybody who needs one, seems like loads of the OS Dailies are having a hard time at the mo

Saw the ex last night, apparently he's just 'not feeling it' as he so eloquently put it, and it's not a snap decision to break up with me, so now I'm pretty f***ing angry if I'm honest. I feel like a complete fool, but I did feel slightly better spending the money I'd put aside for his birthday in Camden market today ;)

Fell really quite strange having so much free time on my hands, so got both my CVs (normal and acting) updated and am starting to send them out this week. Trying to be positive and proactive!

Thanks for all the support, feel a bit silly moaning about my situation when some of you are going through what you are. But you're all always so lovely :A
