i have a 6' wide by 7.5' long bed (OH rather tall) change the bed every 2-3 weeks and turn the mattress every 3 months and i find it sometimes is easier to do this on my own and i'm only 5'2'' :eek:A few years ago when DH was away with work for 6 months, we had just (stupidly) bought a superking size bed...I told my Nan that I was only going to change the sheets 6 times while he was away.....
1 week on the left hand side
1 week on the right hand side
1 week other side of the bed
1 week the place next.
People with a stpid size bed will know what an emotional experience changing the duvet cover is...especially when you are only 5ft tall

Clean sheets, when you've showered and shaved your legs is the best feeling ever! Every week for me, on a Friday, my son's, my daughters' and our king size bed, and I agree it's ever so hard changing a duvet when you're short, five foot four and half!:A :

I was sensible and found myself a 6ft 4 OH to do duvet covers lol.
We have a superking bed.. I do the sheets (top, bottom and 6 pillow covers) every week.. DD3 has had her bed changed 4 times in the last 3 days  I am doing everyone elses tomorrow.
I do the childrens less as they do not sweat as much as us adults do.. and our bed sees a fair bit of action so has legs after a week! DD1 and DD2 have responsibility for changing their own bedding.. at 13 and 15 that isn't a great deal to ask. I tell the boys to strip theirs and they put on their own sheets (14 and 11) I have OH do the little 2's beds.. they have bunks and I struggle and it takes him seconds.
I hate changing bedding!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
