Hello all fellow BR's

I was declared bankrupt yesterday (12/06) at 11.15am and the Court was quite alright, only stressful on my personal part but the Court staff (Liverpool CC) were lovely, met the Judge who was just as pleasant and then off I went (feeling quite a mix of bewidered, "I can't believe it" and "OMG").
When I got home I rang to open a Co-Op account but they had to refer my application to their underwriters and would hear from them in a few days!?!? Received call from OR's office asking me to confirm banking details. I asked re. my current NatWest account (I have no debts to them) they said they would write to them confirming no interest but it was up to them if they froze it. I explained to the lady re. my Co-Op application and asked how long it would take for them to write to my bank as I really needed somewhere by Monday where I knew I would be able to get my wages paid into. She said it would be in a day or so; so I should ring them and ask what would happen.
Anyway... if you have got this far... rang the NatWest who basically said upon receiving notice from the OR they will look again at my account; downgrade it to a step account and I would be able to keep it; same a/c number and debit card but no cheque facilities. I asked the man to confirm if I was safe to have my salary paid in and he said it could be frozen for a few days but it should be fine... I hope he is right because I am trusting having my wages and CTC/CB paid in there at the end of month and I will need them
After 3 little vodkas (or big ones!?!) I tend to go on a bit

Had my OR interview yesterday! I was completely not expecting it as they had told me I would receive a letter in a couple of weeks saying when they would telephone me.
Anyway, the lady called at 2.15, I was just getting the kids in the car who were all knackered after a day visiting new schools and playing in the paddling pool at my mums so the lady said 'it sounds like you have got your hands full, shall I call you back?' I said in an hour would be fine as hopefully they would be having a little sleep by then. So at 4.45 (longer than an hour but I dont mind) the lady called back. She asked me about my car and why I needed it, I explained about where I have to take the children in the morning before work and the same after work and she said 'so you do really need it then' and was laughing a little bit!
She asked how long it had been since I had used credit i.e. spent, I said it is over 12 months now, she said that was 'great'.
She went through the reasons for me not being able to pay back my creditors and said 'you have put quite a bit on the back of the form so that is really helpful' and she just wanted to clarify some points.
On my SOA the only amount she questioned was my nursery at £500, I explained this was for 2 full days a week for 2 children and after school for my eldest, the other two days I work are looked after by their grandparents. She said this was fine. No other amounts on my SOA were questioned.
She explained about the NT code and I have to ring her tomorrow with my tax amount as I had noticed the amount I put from my wage slip was different to a more recent wage slip so need to find out which is the correct one.
She mentioned the possibility of ED but said with the house just being repossessed it may actually take the full 12 months, which I was expecting anyway
I was a nervous wreck before she rang back but I am glad it is done now, the lady was lovely and not at all judgmental; which I had been worried about
