Becky: Thanks for popping in. Some advice/any advice would be fantastic!!!! I did a run today at lunchtime and managed 2 miles in 22 minutes, which isnt great..... but considering its my first ever run, i though it was pretty ok:A
Riding my bike home from work tomorrow as well, so we'll have to see whether or not i actually make it home:rolleyes:
Hiya - sorry for the slow reply am in Vienna on work this week
Well done on the first run :j, its all about getting out there - dont worry about speed at this stage and just try to keep building a bit of distance each week till you're running 4 miles easily and then you can build speed from there as its much easier
Also check out if any of the parkruns are near you as they are great training for 10k runs but fun friendly and best of all FREE
link: www.parkrun.com check out the 'events' tab
Any questions let me know or pop over to the running thread and ask (we're nice honestly)
Good luck!0 -
