Becky: Thanks for popping in. Some advice/any advice would be fantastic!!!! I did a run today at lunchtime and managed 2 miles in 22 minutes, which isnt great..... but considering its my first ever run, i though it was pretty ok:A
Riding my bike home from work tomorrow as well, so we'll have to see whether or not i actually make it home:rolleyes:

Hiya - sorry for the slow reply am in Vienna on work this week :D

Well done on the first run :j, its all about getting out there - dont worry about speed at this stage and just try to keep building a bit of distance each week till you're running 4 miles easily and then you can build speed from there as its much easier :D

Also check out if any of the parkruns are near you as they are great training for 10k runs but fun friendly and best of all FREE :D
link: www.parkrun.com check out the 'events' tab :D

Any questions let me know or pop over to the running thread and ask (we're nice honestly) :D

    Good luck!
