oh no dont get me wrong, my boss is a real motivator, he does life coaching and team management courses himself.
Challenge has been factoring in some time for him and I to sit down together one on one and work through the challenges and training.

Ive been doing my own reading about personality types and figuring the team dynamics out etc so I do feel capable of doing the job, but i do what to have something written down for my review so I dont lose track of where Im going/doing, and actual proactive actions to take.....

i work much better like that because im a structured mind.....

Well it sounds like you are getting there yourself!

Maybe he could involve you on some of his life coaching or management courses. They sound very interesting.

ive been to a few, and am learning a lot but sometimes i just get caught up in the day to day menial tasks that i lose sight of my purpose, plus managing other peoples time for them is something that really irks me! LOL
I know I need to do it, but I hate babysitting people.... which is what i feel like ive had to do.... it'll get better though, just need to see it through for the short term

Try not to worry. You will get there in the end. It is a job in itself, managing other people's diaries!!!

Sorry to hear about the abdominal pain and a night in A&E. Hope you're feeling loads better.

Did laugh my socks off at DH phoning boss at 4am. Whilst knowing early is helpful to plan for you abscence - I would have been grumpy if I'd got a 4am call :rotfl:

Have you got a date for your review? It sounds like there lots of things to be positive about and it'll help you air your concerns in a constructive way.

    Hope DH is pampering you
