I don't have a "local" Morrisons, but was passing the one I do use, and decided to ask the manager to order some in for me. Good job I checked the shelves first as there it was sat next to the stardrops !!! It's never been there before, honestly! I wonder if the word has gone out that it's selling so well?
Anyway I bought 4 bottles, don't want to be running out too soon do I?:D
Although I imagine the more they sell, the more widespread it will become available. Who knows, maybe even Sainsbury ( my most local store) will deign to stock it!!:rotfl:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
There definintely seems to be more Stardrops in my Morrisons than when I first bought some - demand must be hotting up.
Southpaw - I just use a normal bathroom sponge and it comes up gleaming. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
WOW>..IT's great stuff!! works on windows a treat! And I really can't believe how long itlasts. I thought I would need a new bottle really quickly but it seems to be going on forever! (or am I just not cleaning enough??)
Got mine from Morrisons and I was also disappointed that Tesco didn't have any.
I seem to remember this from the 60's (because I AM that old!):eek:0 -

So, does anyone know if I can use it on granite worktop?
I usually just clean them with water and an e-cloth which works well but i was wondering if I clean my sink, taps etc with the stardrops and get some on the worktop will it actually harm them? You have to be careful with some substances on granite. Does anyone know?
Oh and another thing. Is there somewhere on here that tells you what the abreviations mean? I don't understand what have of you are talking about at timesOfficial DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -
of all the things stardrops is good for i would not reccomend putting a good squirt in your dishwasher if you have run out of tablets,i did this about ten minutes ago and now have a kitchen coverered in bubbles and bubbles seeping out the bottom of the dishwasher.. oops.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. thanks for the reply newleaf. Thought I was talking to myself there for a momentIt is unwise to pay too much but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, all you lose is a little money... that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot...it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better (John Ruskin - 19 ctry author, art critic & social reformer)0

Sorry babe ruth.......wasn't ignoring you, saw your posting. Just when I don't have granite, I am a bit scared to answer in case it all goes wrong, and am sure that many others feel the same. It is better to say nothing sometimes.0
