The most recent bottle of Stardrops that I've bought seems to have been re-forumlated. It's now very viscous like a very thick handwash but not quite into Swarfega territory.

I suppose it's a way to make us realise how concentrated it is. I suppose it's meant to prevent using too much but as it's so thick it can be quite hard to squeeze out a small amount.

As a long-term Stardrops user I don't think it represents an improvement.

I seem to be having trouble finding the original star drops. There wasn't any at Tesco, Morrisons or Asda. Are the new ones that they have brought out an improvement or just the same as any of the other million and one cleaning products on the market?

  • A couple of months ago Sainsbury's were selling the original Stardrops at half-price. Needless to say, I got stocked up and haven't needed to look for any since then. Sounds like they were selling it off to make way for the new range which I can't say I have noticed, as I didn't need to buy any! It would be a shame if the original Stardrops was no more as "new improved" never is in my opinion! If a product has been selling well for a long time why change it!

I have seen two different bottles of Stardrops one was the orange coloured one and the other was milky looking, what is the difference?

I have used Stardrops in the past and liked it, have been usingvinegar mixed with Flash Fabreze to clean and do like this, but would try something for a change
  • The orange one is the original Stardrops which can be used for almost anything, including hand-washing and the milky-coloured one has added ammonia. It's absolutely first-class at removing greasy dirt but wear rubber gloves if you use it as it'll strip your hands of moisture.

Did i maybe buy the wrong thing? or maybe just brought it from the wrong place? 1ltr stardrops £1.88 from Asda. Hubby said it was more expensive than i had led him to believe but he was soon won over by the amount of uses and it really did bring our floor up nicely.

if only i could find something to take away the nicotine stains off the pvc doors!!!

You'll need Sugar Soap and a pair of rubber gloves for that.
