I'm off to Ipswich next week, I'll pop into Wilkinson's, see what they're charging.

If it can't be solved with Stardrops, Zoflora or soda crystals its unsolvable!!:rotfl:

Its a golden coloured cleaning liquid. Very old school but rather fabulous and can be used for everything from washing up to doing the loo. My Grandmother used to used it along with Zoflora when I was a child. A bottle costs about £1 and lasts for ages! Go get some!

Stardrops is a bottle of liquid cleaner/detergent! it looks like a bottle of washing up liquid, but does much more than that! couldnt find it for ages, then went up local shop the other night and lo and behold...........he now sells stardrops and.....................BIOTEX!!! I love that stuff and immediately bought two boxes!

just realised how sad I have become! excited cos the local shop sells Biotex............will now google pyschiatric services for my area............I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Stardrops is one of the best cleaning products I've ever bought. I use it for many cleaning jobs around the house, I dilute it with water in a recycled trigger spray bottle (labelled appropriately in case anybody reads this & gets on the health & safety band wagon!) & it lasts for ages. It saves me so much money, as is now my main cleaner, apart from a bottle of disinfectant & a bottle of bleach.

    Get a bottle & I bet you'll soon be a convert too!

Hi Pen Pen, I agree and I've said this before when people seemed to have high expectations of it; its not a miracle cleaner, but it does what most of those more expensive, chemically laden cleaners do, so you need just one bottle under your sink instead of a dozen ;)

  • There's more in Stardrops I've Seen The Light. I'll merge this later to keep ideas together.

Yeah, it's not like it cleans your oven for you, or anything like that. :(
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
