    Hi Buxton rabbit

Asda have it in store and online at 1L for £1. It did used to be cheaper but that was a smaller bottle.

  • Shocking price hike. Stardrops now £1.35. Yes it is good but not that good. Not long ago I was getting it for about 69p. Anyone know anywhere where it is still a reasonable price?

I got 1L bottles of concentrate in Wilkinsons for 88p
  • I've been a convert for years... wonderful stuff - never found it harsh to the skin. I also do my white washing, towels and washclothes with it!

it's because the manufacturer has figured out there's 66 pages on MSE singing it's praises.

Wilkinson/Iceland do it for £1 for 1L. Also try Poundland

I bought a bottle last week and was very impressed. I bought another bottle yesterday for my work stash and its much much runnier than the first bottle. The first one is really quite thick and gloopy and very concentrated. I only added a tiny drop to the water and there was so much foam!! The bottle I bought yesterday is watery and doesn't give half so much lather. I needed to put much more in the water than I did at home. I've checked the bottles and they are identical, both say concentrated on the front etc., both were bought in the same shop a few days apart. Which is correct, runny or gloopy??
  • I have been using that for years my sister told me about it in the late 90's its fab
    It's Britney !!!!!!:T
  • After much reading about it and even more searching, I finally found Stardrops in a shop :D

Think I feel a weekend of OS cleaning coming on and the need to stock up on more bottles for friends. Why is something so useful and cheap so poorly available? Actually, probably answered my own question, cheap! And therefore little profit.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

I've never used Stardrops. I'd like to know how you get on with it.

Hi I have only been able to get it once, with Mr T online. I have searched everwhere but it vanished again. It is fantastic stuff and so usefull for everything. I did get some from a large Mr T but it is in a new spray bottle that the have diluted down already. Good for money making for them as the undiluted was about 39p and enough to make at least 4 spray bottles. The new spray bottles where £1.50 for 2 on offer, I think they will be about £1 normally. Good news for the profits for stardrops, bad news for old stylers :o

Has anyone ever used it on their car?
Sew it, knit it, glue it, reuse it , don't buy it
  • I use it on practically everything so I see no reason why you couldn't use it on a car, it's only soap after all. For anyone who finds it difficult to locate I'd suggest they search their local pound shops as that's where I buy mine. Alas, not any of my local hardware shops seem to stock it
