Zoflora is a flowery scented disinfectant - quite nice and economical to use too. Lots of shops stock it, supermarkets and our local Poundland!

Love stardrops thanks to all you guys. But what is Zoflora? What do you use it for? Am I missing out on another amazing product?

Zoflora is a floral antibacterial disinfectant in concentrated form. The bottle is 56 mls and is used in the ratio 40/1 so lasts for ages. I buy it for around 60p in the local market (I think, though it's ages since I bought any).

There are loads of different scents and they really are pleasant. I usually dribble a few drops in the bottom of the bin and the smell lasts for quite a while.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Thank you Sagaris and Consultant31 I am off to Poundland again tomorrow :D. Do you think these are the only two cleaning products I would need?

    Many thanks

  • Hello! *Waves*

I bought my first bottle of Stardrops the other day and used some to get dried in coffee stains off a white wall that my lovely boyfriend decided to knock off his bedside table and then just leave... It worked wonders, however I just wanted to ask, has anyone noticed that on the front of the bottle it says "kind to hands" but then on the back it has the big orange and black irritant symbol and says keep away from hands and skin?

    Misleading?

So, do you guys wear gloves or not bother?

:D**Thanks to everyone on here for hints, tips and advice!**:D

I was going to get some today there was another product that looked similar for 49p (why can't I remember what it was called) or Zoflora for about 79p so wanted to ask if the other one had been heard of/if it was any good.

Had a look in Sainsburys tonight but Zoflora was £1 something :(

I had contact dermatitis with Stardrops, and needed steroid cream to sort it. I'd use gloves!

I just cleaned my sons Silver necklace with Stardrops. I put Stardrops in a spray bottle with Vinegar and topped up with water. I used same amount of Stardrops as white vinegar about a inch each, then water . poured some in a little container and used a old toothbrush to clean it and its like new now .

    Basically, no.

I wondered about this and bought a bottle today. Stardrops' active ingredients are anywhere up to 6 times more concentrated than washing up liquid. The irritant symbol is due to it being quite strong when undiluted. Diluted as recommended however and it'll be hardly any different to doing the washing up. Obviously wear gloves if you have sensitive hands.

I use it neat on my hands to get off oil and muck from working on the car, it's not on my hands for long and I've not had any problems, great stuff and milder on your hands than Swarfega.

I have been using Stardrops and Zoflora for a few weeks now (after hearing about those products on this thread), and I love them both, though my personal favourite has to be Zoflora simply because I love my house to smell so strongly of flowers!

Anyway, I've had a thought (happens once in a while ;)) : if clothes moths dislike the smell of lavender, woudn't a flannel dipped in the lavender version of Zoflora and stuffed in a lined drawer do the trick?

Just a thought. Perhaps someone has tried this?
