Just a reminder that this very good offer runs out tomorrow. It's supposed to be for new members but I have an expired membership and the discount was applied to it with no problem.0

Just coming to the end of my trial. Interesting stuff but not enough time to process it all. The library is great but aside from the 1hr limit there are things that aren't available via the library, such as family trees which have been very useful to me.0

My Ancestry sub has just expired but I let it run out because I was ill and knew I wouldn't be using it, so now I'm looking for a deal I can use with cashback.
The family trees are useful as a guideline if you are stuck but I've found some pretty hairaising mistakes  as well so always check the original records, same goes for the IGI.0 -
Yes, you should verify other peoples information but this isn't a discussion about genealogy just discounts. How does the sub expire? I thought they would charge you indefinitely until you cancelled.0

American Express screwed up my account & I had to have a new card with a new number a couple of months ago, forgot to tell Ancestry since then had a few e-mails from Ancestry asking for new card details I could just about get up occasionally from my sickbed to check my e-mails never mind reply to any, so now its cancelled.
Kew isn't too far away & they have Ancestry but I do most of my research in the dead of night when the house is quiet.0
