can anyone help who uses it please. i created a tree but my old pc died on me and i was left not knowing my username etc. i have a full tree somewhere on there but am now having to start again and its blooming hard, espectially when it says there is another identical tree on there (mine) but because of privacy setting and being a non member, i cannot even email myself, i hope that makes sense.
on the main site there is no offer so is the above link with the landing before it ok? thanks
Why don't you take the 2 week free trial, I've done this before even though I formerly had a subscription & or phone them on the freephone number for cancelling memership.0 -
Any suggestions about which membership package would be best for someone who is just starting off?0
-
Well the packages have changed in the last year. If you have no ancestry abroad then the best package would be the middle one Premium - which gives all the census (except 1911 which can be paid to view on FMP), bmd index, WW1 records, some parish records and a lot more which most people never even delve into on there.0

Don't forget that if your usage is light that its in most local libraries for free. But you can probably only book an hour a day on the computers0

Ive never had light usage
When I first started my research Id be on ancestry and other sites from 8 a.m. round to 2 a.m. - breaking for the inconvenience of family needing feeding or me having to go to the loo. Its totally obsessive once you get into it.

If anyone may have Irish roots the 1911 census has just (this weekend) had a few more counties added to it, and the whole thing is FREE (including the original scans of not only the census but also associated pages)
