I have found a petition on the No10 website asking for the provision of a no candidate option on the ballot. If anyone is interested?

I quite agree. My point really is that Labour's biggest failure was failing to realise that it was not "different this time".

Well I've never voted Labour in my life.
I've seen the results a couple of times after a spell of them. We're always a bust and broken country who when the Conservatives get in,we are well and truly even more fed up because they have to take measures to get the country back up and running again.
By the time they've done this and we have a reasonable economy the people who were too young to remember what happened in the previous Labour regime usually vote Labour back in again and we come full circle.
Labour spend and spend and we end up bust again.
When Labour got in the first time after the last Conservative government(by conning all the young new voters),my old dad said"well these young one's who don't know what they're like are going to get a shock a few years down the line when they find what they're about".
I don't often agree with my dad,but he was spot on as far as this was concerned.
As for voting nowadays,I don't know who I'll vote for I don't trust any of them.
I think at least not until everyone of the MPs involved in any of the recent expenses scenario stands down or even better is charged with fraud.

in the mail on sunday, cameron was reported to have claimed expenses for a mortgage he merged for 300,000 that he claimed expenses for, he must be exempt from outrage as not one news channel reported this and still today nothing has been said, they were more concerned with darling, cameron keeps spouting about a general election, well bring it on, as there will be a large mish mash of idiots in power as all major parties will not be voted in, then see what mess we get in, i wont be voting ever again. all of them are the same. and it is the british men and women on the street that suffers every time. how many mps are under threat of repossesion? or trying to make ends meet?

It's always been the same though has'nt it.
Come election time they promise you the earth, you vote them in and they never deliver.
I don't trust any of them.
We need change in this country but not with any of the MPs we have now.
They all must be made to go.
They need to be shown they're only as big as we let them be.
Trouble is it's going to take a big man/woman to make things better.

I think the problrm is, what is good for the Country is not usualy vey good for the vast majority of the people! After all to look back to when we were a very rich and financialy stable Nation 90% of the wealth was with 5% of the population and we all lived in tithed (SP?) cottages!!!
