Well isn't it a beautiful day? Sun is shining and CHELSEA won the cup :T:T:j:j:D:D:j:j:T:T:D:D:T:T:j:j:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:
I was cheering for Chelsea, just for you :kisses3: Shame they had to wear yellow
I'm not watching BGT, either :T I only know of Susan Boyle; she's an OK singer, but we have several singers just as good as her in our choir
We barbequed our HM sausages (the apple and Calvados were especailly good  ) then watched a recorded Horizon all together. The children are now watching Robin Hood, and DH has gone to see if he can bag a few bunnies. I'm sat in bed with a glass of Calvados (chef's perk  ).
See you all tomorrow, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Evening all
I'm another one that doesn't watch BGT, & when I'm not on here I usually have my nose buried in a book, DS gave me a couple of Jim Butcher books, I wasn't sure I'd like them but I've read 2 already.
My neighbours rushed off to get married & forgot to leave me any cat food, I had to give the cats a bowl of dog food each, as the shops were shut by the time I realised & it was all I had in. Good job I had that or they'd have had nothing, I don't have anything else suitable. I'll pop out in the morning & buy a pouch for their breakfast, the bride & groom should be back by lunchtime.
Hugs Hester

Congratulations to DIVERSITY who won BGT! Susan Boyle will do ok too,Simons already got a CD planned for that one.Reckon it will be the biggest/fastest seller on the planet.....Well had a great day, my daughters friend came and we had a BBQ - her daughter Maisie was a little star - nearly 2 and so bright, at one stage I moved the Tray BBQ's out of her way to burn out and dropped them on the lawn scorching it in the process - woops sorry Mrs B lolol - My daughter went to Comet and got 4 x Philips Dect Phones for £49 which was brill - she moves in 6 weeks time into her own house, well thats it hope u all had a nice day in the glorious sunshine - when I fetched Mrs B from work at 6pm it was 27C on the car - wow:beer:Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. :beer:0

OMG I so miss Booths. Used to go to the one in Preston and I think some larger ones like in the Lakes area??NCIS & CSI for me too
Pen-Pen, I bought some loose Ricotta today and they also had the Galbani one that's pre-packed. This was Booths supermarket, Don't know quite how widespread they are now, but I'm in Lancashire

Why because I quoted what someone else ie a well known broadcaster comments?Your lastest posts on this thread are a bit nasty and offensive. Do you mean it that way or is it insensitivity to people who are not the same as you?
So according to you, a query about the nature of yumyums, a kind hearted concern about the finances of a fellow mser and a reference to a media figures opinions are all nasty and offensive????
Maya after sending me an uncalled for (and unread) PM after you criticised me and my family on the boards. I really do suggest you think carefully about what you post.I am not the first person to be hurt and offended by your comments here including on a previous occasion when I considered leaving the boards and it is really uncalled for.
If you read further down thriftlady posts similar thoughts and yet I don't seem to see you criticising her.
Apologies to posting this here but I do not want pms from this person in my inbox. I will not turn this into a flame war but as Maya took this public then I have the right to have my one say back.
I found in life that being a kind caring generous selfless to the extreme person got me treated like crap by friends and now it seems that one can't even care about fellow posters on a messagebard as for the second time my caring posts have been castigated.I actually stopped posting personal and caring things and well wishes and consolations etc on this thread due to a previous bad experience on here and it seems now I was right to. Many people post advice and kind things from a good heart on here and not be heavily criticised. it appears that I cannot sadly so have to do all my messageboard involvement in my head.It will not stop me from wishing everyone apart from myself well in life, I will just have to stop expressing it.
Having said all that I did manage to catch Stavros Flatley while channel hopping and have to say I loved them to bits. Very funny in a laugh with them not at them way and very touching to see the father son relationship so close and loving in this day and age. What families should be about. What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -
Sunny I think you mean Hank Azaria..Havent seen it yet myself but I know he is in the film and he is indeed a very funny man. He does a lot of voices for the Simpsons like Moe and Chief Wiggum and is in a lot of films.:rotfl:Thriftlady The film was brill & it was partly reading your reccommendation earlier in the week that decided it for me
I laughed so much at the ancient egyptian king - the baddie I can't remember his name - the actor who played him hammed it up so much it was great.
I took drinks for DS & his friend and had a big bag of popcorn that I'd popped at home for them too
:money:
Enjoy your evening of NOT watching BGT :TWhat Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -
Hi
Lovely hot day again here:rolleyes:....am not a big sun fan really dont like being too hot, would rather be too cold. and it plays havoc with my meal plans;)
Just waiting for DS to come back from his dads.
need to do a lot of replanting into bigger pots today.
OH just sorting shed out as his stash of computer stuff gets bigger by the day and i cant get in to my stores lol.
Made raspberry jam yesterday which turned out great so will put that away with the strawberry and make some more next week....hopefully will not need to buy anymore for a while...DS gets through a jar of Bon Maman almost every week:eek:
I am so excited I bought my wedding dress yesterday:D...it is gorgeous but it felt strange buying a dress for such a big sum:o.
I dont know how to put pcs on here but if anyone is nosey( like me) it is on saraharnett.co.uk on the bridal page it is on the top row second from the right......it is called Greta.
Rack of lamb today for lunch, have never cooked this cut before so hope it goes ok:rolleyes:

Ivyleaf - I'm still at my Mum's
It's very depressing being stuck here as I have no privacy and no life at all. You wouldn't think I'm 25 the way I'm treated Comping, Clicking & Saving for Change0
