Told a friend about this. She said do they check if your old fridge is out of order, and no they do not.
Then she asked what if you have a fridge freezer but could do with a fridge too...

Now this is a tip to save money and help the environment...

all the fridges that get chucked out on the street by people who cant be bothered to dispose of them properly...

take one in to your home just for a short while so you have a 'broken' fridge, then currys will take it away when you get your fridgesaver fridge!

I've only just discovered this wonderful site.

I've obviously missed the boat on this one, I tried the curry's website and there was no link and I tried calling the number that Martin left but the lady told me the offer had finished. I really need a new fridge freezer as mine is leaking - never mind.

i am the owner of a tempermental fridge and really could do with a fridgefreezer, any ideas any-one???????? as i see its a fridge for a fridge and fridge-freezer for a fridge-freezer..regards, elaine

Thanks for the link. I need to find out if the doors on the fridge freezer are reversible (other wise i won't be able to open the door properly!) and then I will order.

I am just about to phone up and get my fridgesaver fridge freezer replaced for the second time. The fridge went two days before xmas and so I was without during a crucial time (thank goodness for neighbours who were away), now the freezer doesn't freeze.

for children on dla go to the family fund web site, they supply grants for everything and kitchen equipment you can apply online but they will do a home visit as well.you can also get holidays etc.
