I joined Piggyback quest a while back. I also more recently joined the Sim Alert group (same owner), which I have found very useful, and the hilariously named Choc Alert, which did actually get me some rather nice Green and Blacks chocolate at a time when I wasn't paying much attention to the freebie forum on MSE.
Piggyback Quest? Well, it's useful sometimes as a reminder if I haven't been to the thread here for a while, but I wouldn't rely on it. It used to be quite good, maybe a month or two ago, but information has rather dropped off since. I think it's the sort of thing you might find useful if you weren't a regular MSEer, otherwise I wouldn't have any great expectations, as probably most of the info comes from here these days anyway.A penny saved is a penny gained0 -
Did anyone ever receive points for the daily diet tracker thingy?"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0

Does anyone know what the Mothers Day clues are for? Come across two so far - one on the Dabs shopping page (Mother's Day - clue: "A")
The other on Carp Diem page ( Mother's Day - clue: "S")
Edit: Mary Poppins - R, Iworld - G.
Edit (again!) - found it - it was the "win a spa break for 2 at Champneys"

I got mine, but it was quite a long time ago that I signed up, (last August to be precise).
I've been through my piggybank, and these are all the things that I've received points for, (not counting clickthroughs, competition entries and advent calender, etc), most recent first:

I haven't got my Choose a Prize points yet. It must have been more than 28 days since I signed up, since I'm sure I've been trying to get rid of all the cr*p that they've been sending me for longer than that.
I still haven't got my points for signing up to the Top Table newsletter, either. I got into rather an un-constructive dialogue about that, so I've left it for a bit, (until Pigsback forget that I was rude to them about it - eek!)
Oh yes, and I downloaded the Napster free trial, but I think there may still be time for those points to be credited.
I thought I hadn't had my points from the Aer Lingus newsletter, but it turns out that Aer Lingus was one of those I signed up for when I first joined, so of course I wouldn't have got another lot.
I've earned points from buying things through Pigsback too. Not many, because many of the things that are currently available through Pigsback aren't things I would normally buy, (or buy very often), and a couple of times I've just forgotten and gone straight to the site.

In case this is of any interest to Darragh and Pigsback, the sites I use most often through the Net are probably Tesco, Boots and Amazon.
In the last 12 months I have also spent money online with Sainsburys, M&S, Travelodge, Ryanair, National Express, Comet, PC World, Dell, The Organic Gardening Catalogue, Eros Shop(yeah, I know, they had a good offer on their introductory pack, OK?
), Ebay, Argos, Waitrose/Ocado, CD-Wow, Play.com, Viking Direct, Virgin Mobile, e-Directory, Nisbets, JR Inkjet, cartridge-monkey, E-sure, U-switch, Friends Reunited, Firebox, The Book People, Prezzybox, Robert Dyas, ASOS, and Figleaves. There are probably others I can't remember too.

Thanks for the aide memoire Marigold
I was pleased to find 100 points added this morning for a gig review I submitted yonks ago
It's a shame that another dvd retailer is unlikely to be added to the PB affiliates because of overlap with CDWow - I'm happy to use them when the price is right (and it's usually good enough) but for eagerly awaited new releases they take far too long (5 days of walking past it in the shops!!)Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0 -
I managed to use my PB Waitrose pizza BOGOF voucher today. They didn't stock the exact same pizza, so I grabbed a couple of other Goodfellas pizzas they did have (same price), and although the voucher didn't scan, the guy put it through manually.
Goodness knows how long it's going to take to get the points, but just wanted to let others know that Waitrose will still accept the voucher for a (slightly) different product.0 -
toozie wrote:I was wondering if anyone had one a prize in any of the comps? I know alot of members have won points, but no one seems to post to say they've won an actual prize-apart from some chamgaigne-I think?
For some reason I'm quite lucky with competitions, but not on the PB site!!!! Never mind still £35.00 richer for doing nothing!
I won a prize but I had to turn it down. It's always the way: I win things I can't use. But I heard that the guy who won it proposed to his girlfriend that night (it was dinner and champagne) so I guess something good came out of it.
