Marigold123 wrote:It is. I thought there was another question that was more recent than that. It doesn't make any difference, because I haven't been able to enter anything from toucan this week at all.
Someone did mention about quotas a while back, so the old questions are given to new/newish members weekly and there won't be any new toucan questions until they're used up, I guess clickthru's work similar.
So the more members we get to join, the faster we'll earn.
Recruitment drive anyone?! heh0 -
zounds wrote:My last 20 point toucan question was only 3 days back, i've only been a member around a month tho' - so I guess they're still wheeling out the older ones.

Not sure what I think of this theory - does the site not indicate that this is a weekly quiz, and should therefore be available to everyone, every week?
"Earn 20 PiggyPoints when you enter the weekly quiz" (lifted from the PB site)
If that indeed is the way it is being run, I think I'd have issues with PB for the way they're advertising their comps. There is nothing in the comp rules (as far as I can see) that indicates that entry is determined by how long you've been a member, or that they recycle the questions.
AFAIK competitions are subject to several laws/regulations - they have to publish rules, keep to them, advertise winners etc. If PB aren't keeping to the rules of the competitions that they themselves have set, I won't be overly impressed
That said, I only use Quidco for purchases (I'd rather have the cash, and point for £, Quidco pay out more than PB for the same transaction), so I find it hard to complain about PB as I only do the click-throughs/comps, and am effectively earning vouchers for doing not very much at allHighest Debt (Sept 04) -> £41,300Debt Free - August 2006!!

Or indeed about anything, recently!
From 13 March:darraghd wrote:I've tried to take some time to read the posts here and have had to stop I'm afraid. The task of deciding where to start is beyond me at this stage in the evening.
So I'll beg your indulgence and ask that any questions you have for me, you let me know from this post onwards...

I'll be checking intermittedly during the week but promise to prioritise any urgent requests.
It's always the same story. Since then we've had three posts from Darragh. The one from 15 March included this:Darraghd wrote:Interesting posts and will get back to them soon, I promise!
And most recently on 22 March, with the incomprehensible:darraghd wrote:Sorry about the delay. Just been busy trying to stop LOSING time on projects and emails

Cat72 wrote:I have been trying for two weeks to get my amazon piggy points- I bought books. I am just new and have emailed them twice with the order details- and I have heard nothing. It puts you off ordering stuff through them incase you dont get the points- if they proved to me that the are reliable thne they would get a lot more orders put through their site- but Im holding back seen how this goes.At the moment I am using other cashback sites for orders that I know pay me out.
I've been waiting on points from Amazon since 22 Feb. Darragh has solved a few other things since then but I think persistence is the way forward.
Rachel did email me today saying that there's an Amazon point credit due sometime this week but I'm not holding my breath since I got the same reply from Darragh last week.0 -

Posting can take up a lot of time. We'd prefer he was working hard on solutions, rather than chatting, presumably.A penny saved is a penny gained0
