    Thanks for the explanation, halloweenqueen.

I did once demonstrate to a female acquaintance on the web (on a different forum) just how easy it was to find out her exact address just from her email address, which contained part of her real name. She was very worried afterwards and changed her email address.

No-one should ever reveal any aspects of their private lives or info that could be used to identify them, no matter how friendly this Board (and others) may seem to be, nor how pleasant the posters seem to be.

Can anyone who signed up for either Choose a Prize or !!!!!! refresh my memory, please? Which of the two was it that resulted in tons and tons of mailbox spam? If it was !!!!!! then I may be doing Pigsback an injustice in saying they haven't credited my points for Choose a Prize.

If it was Choose a Prize that sent tons of stuff, then I did sign up with them, and I do need my points.
I signed up with Choose a Prize only, and they sent TONS of email. (Have since unsubscribed, as got my piggypoints reasonably soon :D)

However, I would imagine that both of these sites are quite similar as in sending lots of junk mail  But that's just my guess, I can only really speak for Chooseaprize. HTH :)
  • I got my toptable points on the 17th Feb, and looking through my emails, i registered on the 13th Jan... so be prepared to wait a while if my experience is anything to go for.

I thought it WAS Chooseaprize I was thinking of, but then I wasn't sure. If anyone else can share Chooseaprize/!!!!!! experiences it will help me decide whether I should be chasing Chooseaprize points or not.

    Thanks. :)
