Just BingoLoopy for me as well - plus I had a question ('How many steps does it take to sign up to BingoLoopy?' - a)3) but as the prize is to spend on their site I might have ignored it at a previous time (today I didn't care and just clicked!)

  • Brilliant - please realise this does give your name and location though. With the thread going the way it is on black saturns menu i thought it only fair to point this out.
Well done and i'm so jealous!

With regards to uncredited points - what they ought to do is like what happens on CDWOW - when you clickthrough to their site you get picture of Curly in the top left corner then you know the link has worked. Never ever had a problem with CDWOW when ordering from them via PB.
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Gutted that the Bingoloopy offer has increased from 750 to 1000 points. Especially since I lost the £10 I deposited.

Hi, I'm pretty new to this Pigsback thing and introduced a friend on Sat, she is now registered and has £1.60 of points but my 100 introductory points haven't been credited, does anyone know how long this takes roughly?
    May 2015 £10 a day currently £208

    Hi
You only get your points once your friend orders something with her points, I think this is right??

It is, they'll get added not long after.

Im quickly losing faith in Pigsback now...
Still no bingoloopy points and still no Dell points.
Rachel mailed me and told me they have no record of either grr
spent 489 at Dell so am due a good 2445 points there and the 1000 from playing useless bingo at bingoloopy !!
I guess it is easy for them to back out of these cashbacks ! Its our word against them at the end of the day whether or not you clicked through properly and so many posts from people claiming they have missing points. Seems like Pigsback is not worth all the trouble.
If Darragh is about please PM me and help me out here
I had pretty much the same feelings about Pigsback not long ago, though I've not lost any big points myself, only smaller amounts from newsletters and the like.

Having spoken to Darragh personally over an unrelated issue, I now have a lot more confidence in Pigsback and their integrity. Either Darragh is absolutely straight down the line or he's a better actor than I've come across before. I'm pretty certain it's the former. Call it a leap of faith if you like. :)

However, I do think their tracking systems need a rewrite, for their own sake as well as ours. If a big purchase hasn't been tracked properly one assumes they're not getting their cut either! I'm sure they're well aware of this and working on it.

Apart from a few glitches with the competitions, these tracking problems, (and the sometimes unreliable response to emails!), they do project an extremely smart and strong image. I think the trouble is, because they do have such a well-made website, (and it is, it's one of the best I've seen), the problems tend to come over as either deliberate, or just sloppy, rather than their being a small, very new company, (in the UK at least), who are working very hard and very successfully right at the top end of what their systems are currently capable of.

My guess is that they're grown very fast since they started up in the UK, faster than they expected, and didn't build in quite enough slack when the systems were designed. A bit like the M25 around London - loads of people use it, it does a really good job, but it has more traffic than it was built to handle and p*sses people off sometimes! ;) This is something they are hopefully working to fix, but in the meantime, they could certainly do with more CS staff to respond to emails. :)

I like Silent_Bob's suggestion about the Curly icon in the corner. I expect it would depend on the willingness of the partner website to have it incorporated, and whether they were planning to stay as partners in the longterm or not. There seem to be fewer problems with partners that are used to having clickthroughs from shopping sites. I guess they must already have efficient reporting systems in place themselves.

Accessing the partner site through a 'Pigsback window' which stays there until you close it out might also work, (you could take a screenshot of your whole transaction page and keep it as evidence), but this might be heavy on the programing, and there must be more elegant solutions.

I hate toolbars, but one which only showed itself when you were going to a partner site through Pigsback might be a nice idea. I also like the idea of a Greasy Palm-style pop-up reminder, (though in this age of pop-up blockers you'd need to remember to actually allow it to pop up). I'm sure Pigsback would benefit from something which reminded you to go through their site to make a purchase. This is something I'm still forgetting to do.

BTW, as a complete aside, do we know how Curly got his name? Apparently, tails aren't the only thing that pigs have that are curly! ;)
