New Sky Viewing Card Message - Getting Worse

Has anyone been getting the message popping up on your tv saying that your new sky viewing card is on its way?

I have been getting this message for a week now and it pops up every hour, is there any way I can stop it other than pressing the button everytime it does it or will I have to ring Sky?

    Same here. I think SKY are only part way through the process at this point in time.

    I got an email from them too yesterday morning saying that my new card is on its way, if the message doesnt stop popping up soon ill ring them.

    Its getting worse now, at the weekend it changed to "Please insert your new Sky Viewing Card" every hour, now today the message is appearing ever 30 seconds, ive phoned them and it would seem my new cards have gotten lost in the post, still waiting for them to stop the messages popping up though.

    I took my card out of the box for a couple of days and the messages have stopped.

    NOW it's back again.

    All you need to do is simply disconnect your Sky box from the phone line.

    These mesages are only sent via your phone line.

    I've had Sky for two years now and have never connected it to the phone line, even while I was in the 12 month contract. I haven't received any of these annoying messages.

    Unplugged the phone line but still getting that darn pop-up message every 30 seconds grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.........................
