It must be me with Asda I just couldn't get on with their website! Ended up without things and paying more! Never mind Sainsburys for me from now on - and Aldi for my fruit and veg of course!

Well it has to be said if you want the best offers you really have to go into store as although i can shop ok online you certainly get more bargains in store which i am lucky and can do every now and then.

Ha Ha snap i have the smartprice beer great in a shandy and im not really a drinker. But i live it up as its 95p for 4 cans. lol

I don't drink much either but a nice weak lager and lime on a hot day is great :)

Also bought a packet of prawn "flavoured" noodles today for 10p :D and some chocolate digestives for 32p - the custard creams and bourbons are great value too.

Only thing I don't like is smartprice toilet roll as it only lasts 5 minutes the rolls are tiny!!

The noodles are great with a meal or on there own its great budget living. Im ok with the toilet roll for what its used for. he he .

The smartprice baked bean, tinned tom and tinned sweet corn and mushy peas are all great but they need to work on the smartprice soups not good at all.

I have found out that the bank needs "450875" updated as Visa Debit and not 4508 in general as "450823" was the old TSB Trustcard so 4508 is not just electron cards, the next 2 digits are important too.

I have lost the plot a bit on this thread.

I have just opened a 'second ' cashminder account and have just had the card-
    450875 number.

card is not embossed at all but is 450875.

Is that -good or bad ?

i.e. is that likely to be a full visa debit account ?

sorry-it is embossed and i was looking at my 'previous card'.Not awake-thanks for pointing that out !

It is embossed and says Visa debit (my other card says visa electron and is flat/not embossed ) so i guess this is good news ?

Also-the way to get a new visa debit card without losing the old one seems to be to open a second cashminder account !!)
