You can be "common" with then then, with our acrylic nails. I have acrylics with a gel top, a combo of the two, they are fab - indestructible;)
Booked in for a pedi next Monday:D

I get permanent makeup on my brows too:D

Common, moi? certainly not. I like to look good, and, as I use a PC daily I need hard nails, they are not talons though,...ugh!! they are short, french manicured, I hate chipped nail polish, so would only wear a colour when I can re touch as required, or have them re touched.

I too have mine fairly short, I can grow & keep my nails, the reason I have acrylics is I like to have a perfect french manicure ALL the time. This way I get them done every three (or four) weeks & they look perfect all the time, no other maintenance needed from me:D

I have a large white tip though, so they are short, but look longer;)
