I put on make up, albeit tinted moisturizer, a hint of blush and some colored gloss.
I have my hair permed because it's just lifeless without curls
I have my eyebrows threaded every other month
I shave my legs and have my bikini area waxed
I put fake tan on now since NYC isn't as sunny as Phoenix
And i need a little boost from push -ups. just a little ;)

Oh dear! Sounds like some maintenance is in order!

Hair coloured and cut every 6 weeks
    Nails- acrylic and infilled regularly
    Eyebrows home waxed
    Eyelashes home dyed
    Normal defuzzing elsewhere
Natural tan now assisted with St Tropez tan intensifyer
Gym work out about 4 times a week (for health and fitness as well as weight)
Teeth whitened (a long time ago now)
Boob implants (after in depth research) now I can look reasonable in a dress
    Botox, hell yes!

Is it all fakery? Taking care of what you have is the best line of defence. Am I fooling the opposite sex? Who cares, and what's it got to do with them anyway :)

I put henna on my hair - but it's the same colour as my actual hair, it just makes it very shiny.

Other than that I shave legs, pits and bits, wear makeup for special occasions, and have three tattoos. That's it. I like being very pale-skinned and am lucky enough not to need foundation/concealer. My eyebrows are sparse normally (fortunately, because they are red like my hair) and my lashes are very dark.

I'm quite low maintenance. I have to have my hair cut and coloured with henna regularly. I also like to have regular facials and waxing on legs/underarms/Hollywood.
I like having a regular and consistent skincare regime. I use makeup on a daily basis. I also have my eyebrows shaped regularly

Ummm I think I'm fairly normal. Not too fake/high maint!

    Things I do...

Hair colour & cut every 8-12 weeks. Naturally curly so I don't ghd it very often.
    Eyebrow wax every 6 weeks
    Eyelash tint every 3 months
Legs, pits n bits hair removal via boots smooth skin every week - am pleased with the progress!
Liz earle; cleanse & polish, toner & eyebright 1-2 times a day on my face
Liz earle exfoliator on my face once a week
Liz earle facemask once every 2 weeks
Full body scrub with aqua mirablis bar (lush) every week
White fillings - i use to have silver but made a choice in the last couple years white only
    Toe nail varnish - always!!
Full body massage about once every 3 months
Reflexology/facials a few times a year when I feel the need to pamper
Nails I keep medium length, unvarnished and only special occasions get them properly white tipped & painted
Make-up - dont wear it every day. Foundation, powder some days & natural coloured gloss, evenings out; that and mascara, glitter, lipgloss etc
Chanel perfume.... not every day. Evenings & days out out only.

    Would like to try....

Experience a fake tan - I cant whilst using the boots smooth skin machine:mad:
    Teeth whitening
Veneers, but only when my teeth get really really bad.
    Have a tatoo:rotfl:
Lighten eyebrow colour - dont know if this can be done. The dark clashes with my hair colour
Eyelash extensions sounds good to try
    Whether we win or lose,
that we played at all was a winning decision. :D
    2011 wins £12,292
    2012 wins ...

All that effort to look cheap and nasty. What's the point?

Au natural is much more attractive than the plastic bimbo look. Watch "Snog, marry or avoid" on BBC3. It's a make under show.

The plastic bimbo look usually gets an avoid when pictures are shown to strangers and the natural look gets mostly snog or marry.

Fake boobs are just awful. They might get you the attention you crave when they're under cover, but they're hideous things in the flesh. Would seriously put me off someone.

Tattoos are even worse. So tacky. Makes people look like they chew backy and spit it on the floor.

Admittedly, being fake and tarty gets you attention when out, but who from? leary drunks who think they're on to a sure thing.

Most blokes want a pretty, natural "nice" wife. I'm sure fake/tarty woman get treated far worse for it.

I have to agree. My wife used to be into all that stuff and she looked 10 years older. Now finances mean we can no longer afford it and she loooks so much better. I cringe when I see 30+ women with fake tan/nails etc. They look so much older.

This thread has made me very sad, especially the number of women having boob jobs.

    What an interesting thread!!

    * Hair extensions 60% of the time
    * Pluck eyebrows and leg and underarm and bikini line hair removal
    * Occasional lipgloss/lipstick.

I suffer with eczema so have to care for my skin as much as possible, so take certain vits and use shea butter and coconut oil on my skin.
