    woo hoo the first page!!!!

i'm looking forward to my afternoon. i'm going to compose a shopping lsit, and pop into town after work, so that the rest of my weekend is free...

apart from the meal planning i have no house work that needs doing, as i did it all last night. (there will be a tiny bit of ironing and the washing to get in, but it makes me happy to think there is none.)

i might be adventourous and cook soething lovely for dinner... no idea what yet though...

    Morning all,
DF is feeling better so I hope to finish decorating her bedroom. Will put the 2nd coat on the walls and satinwood the skirtings and doors. The windows are DG hard wood so wont have to paint them.
BM and WM on, beautifull and sunny so will get DH to peg washing out.
Just F&V to buy for the w/end, I really need to run the freezer down and do a stock ckeck of the cupboards.

DD2 & DGD came round y/day with the bigest bouquet of flowers for me, DD said they were a little thank you for all the help. Bless her.

Cooked some chicken breasts last night so will have them with a jacket and salad for dinner, sorted.

JACKIO, A Thousand Splendid Suns is a great book, just wish I had read The Kite Runner first. I'm sure you will enjoy reading it.
PENPIN, Hope you will be feeling better soon.

  • Good morning all. A lovely day here on the Lancs. coast. It's 15c already and expected to hit 24c today. My plans may get rearranged a bit today just to enjoy some time out in the sun. The front garden desperately needs weeding in the borders and it wouldn't hurt to mow the lawn either. Simple pleasures in life that make me smile. :)

Not much planned for the weekend. DH is off for it so I think we're going to relax and spend some time catching up. I have a bit more painting to do in one of the other flats today and I'll be done with my part. :j I love doing it however at this point I'm tired and sore from all the work. Getting older isn't for sissies. :rotfl:

Many ((((((((((((((((((Gentle Hugs))))))))))))))))))))))) to all who want/need them. Thinking of you all fondly each day.

    Peyton xx

Good Morning Chums ,a beautiful day looks in the offing here in the Garden of England.I have a few bits of shopping to get and some rubbish for the tip and a prescription to pick up then should be free by about 11.00. Have to drop one grandson at a party at 1.00 leaving me with 1 granddaughter aged 16, and two grandsons aged 9 & 4 to amuse this afternoon The other one aged 13 is having a mooch around Chatham with his girlfriend and pals from school so I don't have to worry about him.I may take them to the park or the library.Their Mum is at work and their Da is working from home so I will keep them occupied and out of the way for the rest of the day.

    Morning all
So far I've done hubby's hreakfast & taken him to work, had my breafast, planted up some marigolds, I couldn't decide where to put them yesterday. I just have the DW & WM to do, there is already washing on the line. I have DGS & DGD for an hour or so this morning as DD is going for a smear test. Fortunately most of my garden is still in the shade so they will be able to play outside.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Morning everyone - hope you're all well today?

It's not a bad day here, warm and cloudy but promising to clear up. I hope it stays dry as I hung out 2 loads of washing before I left.

Got a busy day at work and need to take the car to the garage as it's making a funny noise :( Think it might be the exhaust, but that was replaced (front box and a bit of flexi hose) just over a week ago.

Had a lovely evening last night - dinner went well and we enjoyed the evening. hoping for a quiet weekend and time to sit out in the sun and enjoy the weather. Got plenty to do round the house, but it'll be nice to get the windows and doors open for a change.

Have a good day and hugs if you need them.
