My DD, age 20, finished college, last year and carried on working at her P/T job while she looked for a job with prospects. She was exploring all her job options, but apart from retail experience, did not have any other relevant 'real world' job experience.

I would have told her never in 100 years would someone in her position have got anything from registering with an agency, but she stuck her CV in online with several agencies including a local one.

Within 2 days, she received a call from the local agency telling her they were recruiting for a well-known company and would she be interested. The upshot is she started a great full-time, permanent job at the beginning of April, with a good salary and package, which she absolutely loves.

My advice; keep all your options and your mind open!
