Moonpenny, thankyou for the reply. Money doesn't come into it too much as the baby will be my nephew! I want to make sure that I include all those things that you don't think you will need but find out at 3am you were wrong!!

I will read right through the thread for ideas of what to include but will make flannel Swiss rolls, sock and bib cupcakes, blanket, dummy, travel sized toiletries, carton of milk and a bottle..that type f thing.

    Xx

hi, I've not been on for ages and ages and still had the old thread in my subscriptions!

I'm a working Mum and have been rattling my brains for ideas about making a bit more money without selling everything in my house (or myself!). Was thinking about this and remembered I can make these lovely things.

So, I've decided to start having a go at it again. I'm going to read through the thread and get going :j

I think part of my original problem was there was a distinct lack of places for me to get some cheaper things as I don't have anything like Home Bargains or B&M... I've only ever heard of these places!

    Will be back after reading....

Just saying hi. I made a few nappy cakes in the past for friends and family but as a friend of mine is due next month I will be attempting another one. I have nappies left over from my baby so will use those up. Just need to search for the thread with the details of how to make it and how much ribbon you need etc.

Naomim I agree!! My problem is not being able to get my hands on cheap products.. I'll look forward to hearing your findings! :-)

Well I made a two tier cake last night. Just need to finish it with blankets. Now I have bought a sleepsuit but can't remember how to fold it to cover the top tier. Any tips?
