Can anyone lead me inthe right direction for boxes to ship nappy cakes in. Seen large packs on Ebay but they don't seem tall enough & obviously the cakes are all different shapes and sizes but need to be packed securely (so a pack of 25 eg is not going to be any good)! To the people that post them out, do you post them wrapped in the cellophane? Does it not get creased when you pack the box? Sorry for all the questions but I am stuck for where else to look!

Thank you vikki_louise I do like them all hidden too. Do you use card or anything underneath your blanket/item to wrap around to make it stand up to firmly? It looks so perfectly neat, mine looks a bit floppy, if that makes sense?
I LOVE the hungry caterpillar cake! Beautiful!
Neenaww I have wondered the same thing. I currently only sell locally as I am nervous about posting: making sure it doesn't cost too much, gets there securely & in one piece!

    Hi Tash,

I use the round cardboard cake bases. You can get different sizes and are only bout 50p in Asda. They are silver too so if anything shows, at least it's pretty!

Try and get it as tight as you can round the nappies the tighter the better thats all i do on mine :)

I can't remember the name of the company but a poster on here who does nappy cakes as a business buys her boxes online and gets them with her logo on, they look brilliant.

I tend to use what ever box I have available, I've been known to use the box nappies come in even, and I put brown paper over them. Works just as well and I would rather put an extra baby item in than pay for a box (I can't believe how expensive boxes can be from some places!)

    neenaww,

The box company you are looking for (I think!) is http://www.ascdirect.co.uk/

I have never posted cakes so can't help with that but this company will also make boxes to size. I think all boxes are expensive but these seem average cost!
  • For those who use Huggies normally, which brand are you going to switch to? I've got a big stock of huggies but not sure who I will switch to, pampers seem the obvious choice but quite a few babies seem allergic to them
