DeborahDoodle, Love your Twin Cake. Very clever how you have mixed the colours for the bows. :T:T:T
I have been cake making for ages but have never made a twin one. That will have to be my next challenge!
I did sell 2 x 2 Tier cakes, 1 Blue / 1 Pnk a whle back for twins as I didn't have any. Got a better return than I would have for 1 cake so I was pretty pleased. :rotfl:0 -

Thanks guys, really appreciate the support:beer:
sweetpea32 - I got the blankets in B & Ms a while back (my local one has closed now). They were £2.99 each. They are very soft and feel lovely. They have a satin trim around the edge.0 -
moonpenny - i did a twin cake before but it was 2 boys, so this twin i wanted to try to make it a bit different. Seemed to work out really well and the mum to be loved it!!0

I love them all Deborah and I like the big pictures, it means I can see the cakes better, plus I don't know how to resize them either! I have made a boy 3 tier, boy 1 tier and a girl 1 tier. Just waiting for my blue pull bows to be delivered then I can wrap them and show you all.0

Great twin cakes....the boy and girl cake is brilliant!!! well done.
We are due twin grandchildren later in the year and if it turns out they are a boy and a girl you've gave me a great start for a combination cake, thank you.
Everyones cakes are all great, I've loved looking at all the photos.0 -

I've just googled B & M and the nearest one is over 25 miles away. A bit too far for me to go, nevermind.0 -
Hello
My sister is expecting her first baby in August after 3 years of trying. I would like to make her a lovely nappy cake with some bits for her in too. I've no idea where to start, and I know you must be asked this question lots, but if someone could give me a general list of what I need - I know nappies, socks, ribbon, blankets etc. What about the little things which help you make it? And do you put it on a board or not? Where do you get most of your things from? It seems Asda is a good place?
Thanks for any help, and sorry if you're having to repeat yourself!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0
