  • Hi!

I'd love to see a picture of that! Bet it will look amazing.

Took me ages to think of a name so can't help there! I just stuck a competition on my FB page to get people to give me ideas

Its going to take me a while to complete it unfortunately - i want to do it in pinks or blues so cant finish until she finds out but she has confirmed she will be fining out!! I will probably decorate it before then any way tho to practice getting it just right LOL!

Where do you all find your baby towels from? with 2 baby boys myself im a bit picky as think they eed to be soft - im not sure what i price i should be looking at for the?

Just checked mothercare and tehy have some on there on sale - only a 3 pack of blues tho for £6.50 so works out about £2.18 per towel?

Good idea for the name competition but i dont want to announce my plans yet as wopuld like everything in place foirst pic sorted ect.!! x
  • hi everyone. im new on here and cant put my pics on just yet as im a new user is that right or am i just doing wrong.
i sell my nappy cakes to 4 shops and have been for 3 years the are doing really well.
i would like to do fairs but cant seem to find out where they are, any suggestions welcome. was thinking of doing boot sales and was wondering if any of you on here do them and if you sell many that way.
i sell my 1 tier cakes to the shops for £17 and they sell for £25 2 tier for £25 and they sell for £35 and sell my 3 tier cake to them for £35 and they sell in the shops for £45. apart from 1 shop who bumps his prices up a lot selling the 3 tier tier for £60! i dont sell that many in that shop probably only 1 every 5 weeks but its a nice little shop in a nice area so am happy they take pride of place in the window.
i get my clothes and blankets from asda or tesco as i find them cheap enough and of nice quality too.
i dont send my cakes as im worried they might get damaged or fall over as each tier isnt attached, would be a great help to know how you send yours and how much it costs.
well thats me hope to talk to you all soon and see some of your lovely cakes

I shall just have to be patient then!

I got my latest blankets and towels from Matalan as I like their bright designs. Their fleece blankets are £4 and towels with mitt £5 so that Mothercare offer is good but I'm guessing they are plain colours but still not bad at all.

Also a question for those about to do fairs. I have my first fair of the season on April 2nd and another 1 planned for the Summer. So far all the fairs I've been to are ones people have invited me to via my FB page. How do you go about searching them out?
