No Wilkinsons here:( The customer bought one from the Disney store, so ok:D
I have had a monkey cakes made for a while with no one interested, beautiful clothes set from the US as well, monkey ribbon and soft toy. Pity you could not have got some bits here.
I can't believe it's not sold, I remember it and love itBest wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

Where is everyone getting their blankets from just now?
Matalan seems to be the only place with reasonably priced, decent quality "plain" blankets in my area just now. Asda have some nice "Disney" ones but I am just looking for plain white.vikki_louise wrote: »I can't believe it's not sold, I remember it and love it0 -
Hi Irlrip
I got a lovely white one recently in B & M - nice size too.
I've not posted for a long time, (too busy working!) but good to see everyone is still here! lol
I just made a combo cake - middle tier is for Mum and has some heart shaped chocolates and a lovely smelling candle - the bottom tier has baby toiletries, some clothes, nappies etc.

Sold all the other ones with my US stock straight away but no takers for the monkey:(0 -

Me too! Can't find any "totally" plain ones anywhere.
Got some nice ones recently in the Tesco 3 for 2 sale but not plain.
Was even thinking about making my own but don't really want to get into sewing again. (Used to do loads!)
Did you find a Pooh Bear?
I have been looking for a suitable "woodland" toy and the only one I can think of (reasonable price) is Pooh dressed as a brown Squirrel. You guessed it! can't find any!0 -
Morning every one.
I managed to pick up some nice blankets yesterday from Dunelm Mill, £2.49 each they did them in Plain Blue with A giraffe, Pink with a butterfly, cream with - teddy i think! and yellow with a sheep on or blue or pink tartan print, i just went for teh plain ones tho as i preferred them!!
Im really pleased with how good my cakes are looking, and the best bit is i absolutly love just sitting doing them when the kids are napping or on a night!! I seem to be finding it rather theraputic!! Bizzarre i no!!
I will try and upload a picture but it said i havent been a member for long enough last time?
My next questions are - if i want to set up in doing nappy cakes to sell and not just for friends which really would be lovely - i believe i need to do something to conform with trading standards? Can any one shed any light on this please and perhaps gove me some pointers or at least point me in the right direction as to who i need t speak with as im sure if i rang them and said i need to talk about starting a business with nappy cakes they arnt gonna have a clue!!
I have been looking into setting up a web site but im stuck - i dont want to pay some one else - i no how to do it all my self but finding a good pakage with a decent template is grrr at the moment!!
Thanks and lovely cakes, Sally UK - Your latest looks beautiful - i love the flowers they would look ace in my lounge!!!!0 -

Luckily the customer bought one from the Disney Store.
Is this the Pooh you are after :
I will easily take it off this cake and let you have it if you can't find one.

I was in my local Dunelm on Thursday and they no longer do baby blanket0 -
Irlrip, that cake is beautiful! and yes that is the toy I was after. In actual fact, it was your cake I had seen that made me think of it as I couldn't find anything else.
It's very kind of you to offer to dismantle your cake but I'm afraid I need 2. Where did you get them from? Thank you so much for offering though, it was really kind.
I did think of owls or something but I don't think they are very "cuddly"
baby baking 11 - no Dunelm near me but it sounds like the blankets have got motifs on anyway (not completely plain) but thanks anyway0 -
B&M sell sell blankets in cream, blue and pink @ £1.99, they do have a motif on them, but I just hide them on the inside.
If you didn't like the embroidery on them previously, I'd have another look as them have changed the designs.
They also have a white shawl blanket, a little dearer, but pretty sure it's this one

Unfortunately as i have jsut one them for friends of mine and familys frends i never thought to take pics of them until now! Stupid i know!! I have done some sock cupcakes which im very proud of!! Going to try and upload a pic for you to see - My only question is - I see ppl are able to post these but how? surely they come out of tere cases and roill around and are basically ruined by the time they arrive? any suggestions would be great!! Also any tips on the sock and clothes bouquet - i have a friend who wants one as shes seen one on the web but tips on how to roll the vests ect into flowers would be great - i can do the socks!!
Hoepfully some tips will follow from you all!
oddly enough the first few boxes I sold and sent out of these arrived fine and I had no complaints but then they started to go wrong and I had to refund P&P on several orders. I now pack a layer of bubble wrap inside the cupcake box to keep everything in place, not ideal especially if the customer wants to send them straight to the new parents but I can't keep having complaintsOverdraft: [STRIKE]£529[/STRIKE] £199 BC: [STRIKE]£697.82[/STRIKE] £1974.02 MBNA: [STRIKE]£1874[/STRIKE] £517.00
