  • Hey everyone,

Well i have scoured and scoured the web to try to find some reasonably priced soft teds baby plush toys and have finally found a good wholesaler at really reasonable prices - Only snag is that the minimum order is £100 + Vat - I dont need that many teds n i certainly dont have that money just to get soft teds!! Was wondering if 4 or 5 of us perhaps went in one one order to make up the minimum value and then got it delivered to one address and that person forward them on to everyone else? Just a thought?.....

Don't know what you want to pay but there is a cream / brown / blue dog on BHS website for £5. (Baby clothes section)

What about Tatty Teddies? (sale ones from Valentines day etc) I got some last yr and cut the red heart off it was holding and replaced with ribbon.

Card shops are a good place to look - Birthdays had loads of "Roly" bears last yr after an "occasion". They usually sell for around £6 - £10 and I got most for £1.50. Same thing - had to unpick sweet sixteen / best grandma etc but worth it for the price.

Wish I could get some orders for blue cakes - I only seem to sell Pink and Neutral.
Made a beautful lemon one with touches of pink for a girl and can't move it. Have decided it is pointless making anything other than pink for girls.

Im making my first lemon cake for easter/spring and hoping it will sell! I only ever seem to sell pink or blue, very rarely neutral!

Make that four! It's bloomin feast or famine round here and every single one of them are boys! Found some teddies in Card Factory - nowhere near as nice as the shining stars but they'll have to do :o

Im doing my first craft fair on sat and am not too sure what to take. i was thinking of taking 9 cakes. 1 in each colour and tier size. and also my cupcakes and 3 clothes bouquets. i only have a small table and want to take more of what you all think i might sell. if any of you have some advice it would be much appreciated im guessing small cakes might sell a bit better as people dont really take large amounts of money. and my large cakes are £45.
