Vikki - the peter rabbit cake is gorgeous - I'd never manage it though I have bit of a cotton wool phobia and cannot bare to touch the stuff!

Kate, natnat and moonpenny something to think about there! I list all of the ingredients but yes, ingredients etc are listed on bath stuff and instructions on the rest. I try not to take stuff out of packaging if I can help it and leave all tags on everything. Things are getting silly!

    Hi brudie25,
I use the shining star teddies and dogs (available in pink and blue) from B&M, £1.79 each, eg.

  • Hi everyone

Not been on for a while - went on jolly's but ended up ill!!

Anyhow a quick question i know it may sound simple but im having difficulty with it.

I have made up a few nappy cakes and i am finding when i transport them the ingredients on the top all start falling over.

What can i do to stop this apart from sticking with loads of parcel tape - lol

    Thanks

    Katie

Katie, do you wrap them in cellophane? I usually find that if its tight enough around the top they don't move too much,

Thanks for the tips on the toys candy and vikki - will check out the half cost ones in a minute - The shining stars toys they stock in home bargains near mee all seem to be penguins lol I will have to venture out for the day to B+M! oh and a trip to Ikea, I need to go there anyway.

    Hi Everyone

I have been reading through this thread with interest as like many of you, I have made a couple of nappy cakes as presents for people and have really enjoyed doing them!

I am doing some research in to the possibility of making them to sell, and have read some posts about contacting trading standards. I think I would need to do this before I really started out properly so that I know what would be expected of me and wondered if anyone has been through this process and could let me know what's involved? I would also need to look in to insurance too.

    Thank you in advance!

    Miriam
